I was just going to say how weather and temperature affects my sex drive. I think a poll might be an easier way to do this. I assume that it might be warm, sunny days for many people. It is not that way for me. I like to be outdoors doing things when it's warm and sunny. For me it would be overcast cool days - the ones that are without rain - when I think about sex more. Warm, sunny days are still okay for my sex drive. When it's raining or snowing, it's down. If you don't see an answer you like, you can explain how you feel about this.
I can’t say that I’ve ever really noticed a correlation, except that it would be down on very warm days because I prefer doing nothing in order to keep as cool as possible.
I've heard that in places with warmer climate like some places in Africa, people have higher sex drive (vice versa for cold places like up north in Russia). But on day-to-day weather, I think at least I wouldn't like to do anything that makes me more suffer form hot weather.
I've noticed a difference in the Spring/Early Summer but can't really notice a difference day-to-day LOL
I noticed that my hormones seem to go down in the winter. Not only the libido but also acne and stuff.
I actually made a catchphrase for this... "When it's hot, the pants start to drop...when it's cold, it's time to be bold!" Crafted from personal experience. People are way easier to hook up with when it's hot, and it takes far more effort to get laid when it's cold so you have to break out the fancy strategies. On the other hand, it's way easier to get into a relationship when it's cold, because people get lonely and cuffing season is totally a thing.
I've honestly never thought of this. I have no idea... I should perhaps keep this in mind over the next few months and monitor. Although, of course, one issue is being careful to rule out other factors. I'm only speculating, but I'm wondering if warmish but not hot wouldn't be the best. But...I can see pluses to other times. When it's warm or hot out, I see more men out wearing nothing but shorts, which can be a turn on. And if I were in a relationship, I can imagine that cold nights snuggled in bed with the boyfriend/partner/husband might end up with a sudden desire for sex.
They do say that the birthdate does go up at certain times of year, don’t they? Or is that an urban myth?
I’ve heard that too. I’ve heard that most babies are conceived on Christmas or around there which is why the most common month to be born is September.
I haven't noticed my sex drive changing with the weather. However, my libido has a tendency to spike up whenever I'm hypomanic.
