yeah, I get that feeling. it helps me to picture tiny versions of my friends yelling at me from my shoulder saying thing like "you'd do it for me"
My grades were so bad when I started secondary school that I was tested by an educational psychologist. Turns out I had above average intelligence which means my teachers knew I was capable of better but I couldn’t do better.
If I get a drink with a fast food/takeout meal, I will use that cup for the rest of the day when I get more drinks.
They are vegan "chicken" nuggets or tenders. In the same way that chicken fried steak is not chicken but a beef steak breaded and fried these are some sort of TVP (texturized vegetable protein) which are flavored and breaded, they somewhat imitate actual chicken nuggets though the texture is not quite as fibrous as it is not muscle tissue. On the plus side though they do not involve enslaving, torturing and then slaughtering a living, breathing, feeling creature.
I spend more time reading and immersing myself in those fictional worlds than in the real world. I love rereading books, and I don’t mind the bad parts as long as it ends happily. I don’t read books that are sad or scary. These days it’s better than the news reciting the death and infection rates of a global pandemic. Before the global pandemic anywhere was more interesting than here.
