I agree that the USA is misogynistic, patriarchal and also homo and transphobic as well as many other issues. It is not just the office of president but there are also very few women CEOs of major corporations and other issues. As to the other issues, I want to put this gently and I do not want to offend you. I am just trying to make sure about details since you are thinking of writing. By only speaking of violent men and not about violence in general I think that you are missing the issue a little and that you sound sort of like the shrill extremist feminists of my generation. (I am a feminist and I am even second wave but I understand that the issues are wider than simply being against men) Asia is a continent and not a country. China's one baby per family did make major changes and helped slow down their population expansion, in fact India is set to overtake China as the nation with the highest population soon. What I was trying to point out there is that there is a more modern and inclusive manner of speaking about disadvantaged nations. And in what you just said here. High-breeding, I for one think that education of everyone is the best policy. In pretty much every nation those with higher educations have children generally later in life and have fewer children. I am personally against enforced policies in general. Helping people understand issues is my preferred method of change. This is why I believe that jails and prisons should be centers that help rather than warehouse. The USA also has many who are extremist in their religion and I think that is part of it's problem. The hate for immigrants has a long history and I wish something could be done about it also. Also, the preferred designation now is "undocumented" immigrants not "illegal", the phrase used now is "no human is illegal" in fighting against the intolerance of those who arrive in the USA, especially since a high percentage of them are essentially refugees fleeing terrible situations. I am only trying to be helpful here.
One of the positives about diversity is respecting other people's opinions. Not all 8 billion humans on the planet are social justice warriors but all nations on the planet do have immigration laws for a reason. Quite often in life, hate and intolerance are in the eye of the beholder.
Ooh, can I join in? I identified as a lesbian and now I’m not sure, but I definitely prefer women. I live in a rural area in the Midwest and I miss friendship with women, especially queer women.
That must be hard, particularly with the pandemic too. I’m sure you’ll find some people to chat to here.
Its weekend sooo nothing much today just did some shopping and just relaxing at home watching movies how about you?
