Shouldn't it be the other way around? I don't mind either one. If a gay guy or lesbian has a masculine personality, I respect that. If a gay guy or lesbian has an effeminate personality, I respect that as well.
No, I meant it exactly like it is. May be surprising, but I saw lesbians saying they feel very attracted to femboys and gay men saying they'd rather date a tomboy than a femboy
I do not know all that many gay men that I have discussed anything like this. I have spent a lot of time around lesbians. None of the ones that I have known have expressed any interest in feminine men. Their tastes varied from butch to femme but they all have been only interested in other women. I have known Bi and Pan women who have wider interests though.
I have heard of bi men being more attracted to androgynous people than straight men. And I have quite often found tomboys to be very attractive, but then apparently I am bi as well.
No clue about the opinion, because I’m bi. I definitely had some gay men attracted to me, but I’m not exaclty a tomboy.
Doesn't make any sense since that would mean they're bi, not gay. I date both effeminate and masculine gay guys. My current boyfriend belongs to the latter demographic, though he loathes being labeled as masc.
I am a tomboy and there is this femboy that I am attracted to. But, I am not ready for a relationship. I'm building myself. But I am open to make friends and happy times.
I'm Bi, sometimes I want to wear pink and listen to girly pop music, other times I listen to alternative rock & trap music in all black and streetwear. Might be my gender dysphoria tho...
On the gay guys liking tom boys more then femme boys and lesbians prefering femme boys over tomboys, I knd of get that, but I guess that just being attracted to masculinity or femmininity, not just the gender. Aren't there terms for people that are just attracted to femme-ness or masc apperences?
Most femboys and tomboys are just genderbending men/women anyway, arent they? Why would a lesbian be attracted to a gender-bending man? Or a gay guy be attracted to a gender-bending women? It makes more sense that gay men would be attracted to femboys and lesbians would be attracted to tomboys.... And in my experience, most femboys know that they are men and don't expect lesbians to be attracted to them. Same with tomboys, most of them know they are women and don't expect gay men to be attracted to them. Also, aren't most femboys and tomboys gays/lesbians or bisexual themselves? I can't imagine a reason why gay people would want to court attraction from the opposite gender, and being a feminine man or a masculine woman just doesn't seem all that common among straight people. (if that makes sense)
