Hello everyone I´m new here and I have yet to find out how it all works so if I take some to reply it´ll be because of this. So I´ll cut straight to the point, for as long as I´ve watched porn I´ve masturbated to both videos of men and women. I used to think I was bi but after some gaslighting from my mom (the usual for me) I stopped thinking about it and I´ve only managed to face that skeleton in my closet (heh) now. Is there any other thing apart from me liking men that would explain these homoerotic fantasies? Honestly, IRL I do not feel the same attraction towards men that I feel for women but this doubt still lingers and I´m dying to solve it. My family is not accepting of this so coming out to them is not possible. Thanks, all.

Hi there, and welcome. I'm also new to this space. Just wanted to say that as I've browsed some threads I noticed some people commenting, basically, "porn is not a great barometer for judging your sexual identity" or something to that effect and it rang true to me. I mean, it probably DOES mean *something* that men in porn/gay porn turns you on (as it does me, along with women/straight porn)...but it's probably not sufficient as any kind of authentic, deeper input leading to any self-insight. I mean, it's porn. Surely sexual orientation goes a bit deeper. Here's hoping you find ways to work that out and I trust this forum can be a help.
