Omg it makes me so mad when people eat off my plate. I’ll say really loud in a bitchy tone, “oh did you not like what you got?”
The earliest record the vet has of my cat is 2002. I had always thought he was 16 (which is still very old), but I guess he's actually 18!!
Wow that’s cool. Does he still act pretty young? My cat is 14 and she still acts the same from the day I got her 12 years ago.
Yeah, I'd say there hasn't been much difference in terms of acting like an old cat. He's not fraile, and still seems to act like a younger (adult) cat. He still doesn't put up with any sh*t, or run away from the dogs either.
Ugh so I just got back from the dentist. It was so overwhelming. I was there for an hour and a half. I have a cavity in between two teeth. I have to get fillings for both of them. Then it turns out that I have 5 wisdom teeth instead of 4. The two that are next to each other seem to be growing straight. Then there is one on another corner that is growing in completely sideways and will have to be pulled (but I’m going to an oral surgeon for that) also my wisdom teeth have 3 roots on them instead of 2 which means they’re bigger than average.
I'm thinking about how I wish it were possible to have more than eight sims in a household. Made sim versions of my friends, but had to evict a few to keep to the eight-person limit. However, it'd probably be quite chaotic (well, more so than it already is) with more than eight at a time, so perhaps it's better off that way.
The only good thing about being unemployed right now is that people probably judge a little less than they would other wise
I actually feel good about myself today (shocker). I did some actual work and I'm proud of myself. Crazy, I know.
Today is my last day of working from home. I couldn't be actively dreading our return to the office any more if I tried.
I dont know what to do with my life. I dont have the right to complain because I know others have it even worse. Oh well, suck it up as always.
I'm thinking about how people have told me that I have cat-like reflexes. When I'm actively engaged / focused in the moment, I do seem to react quicker than expected. Unusually, caffeine induces drowsiness in me and makes my reflexes much slower. It's really bizarre whenever I experience it, as if being weighed down by a blanket. Sometimes people don't believe me when I tell them that. Plus, I'm thinking about how I once managed to complete a project in ten days that should've taken me two months. I know that comes across as a boast (wouldn't recommend it, wasn't healthy), but really I'm just wondering how I even managed that. Somehow got top marks. If I got my procrastinating under control, I think I'd do quite well.
It looks like you still have some time to prepare. It might turn out to be better than it seems it will. Do you have a lot of material to review?
My neighbour lets her cat roam around the neighbourhood during the day. Somehow she finds the cat and lets him in during the night. Seeing the cat sitting by the glass looking outside all the time when he's in, I can't be sure that he came back home willingly by himself. How did the neighbour find her cat when there are many houses around here???
Cats come back on their own when they want food. There are lots of people with pet outdoor cats like that. Sometimes it'll disappear for a few days, but eventually you come home one day and it's sitting by your door waiting to be fed.
Yeah, I'm just trying to go over my weakest points so if they do appear in the exam, I won't be caught off guard. I have a fair bit. It's in relation to the musculature of the body. While I'm quite ok with knowing the names and location of each muscle, I have to know what they do and how to treat underactive/overactive muscles. E.g. if X muscle is overactive and Y muscle is underactive, what steps will be needed to correct the imbalance. There's a lot of things to remember for all kinds of muscular issues, too.
