I am dressed and getting ready to drive to my first LGBTQ event. I am dressed in some of my new threads (plaid pink shorts, pink collar shirt and sporting my rainbow tie). I am attending a Pride Celebration my first. There will be lots of vendors, music and entertainment. I will meet some people from a single gay mens group I joined for coffee and head to the event. Tonight I go to my first gay bar to meet guys from another gay mens group. I daresay that the place should be packed with people from the Pride Celebration. This is a busy social month.Tomorrow I attend a service at an LGBTQ friendly church. Then next week I head out to a dinner sponsored by a gay mens group. The week after that I head to a big gathering sponsored by a gay mens naturalist (nudist) group (that should be a revealing experience! *grin*). Then to conclude the month I go to a barbeque held by a senior gay mens group. After all these months, I am ready to finally get out there and start creating a new life for myself. Wish me luck! *smile*
