I got a word clock, just like the one below. I was spending Christmas alone this year but a good friend of mine left this gift for me so I'd have something to open. It's really special and exactly the kind of thing I like.
For Yule I got... 2 16 oz. bottles of mead, 2 liter bottles of mead, and one bottle of glühwein (glow wine; it's supposed to be served hot, apparently). Oh, and a bunch of random clothing. I'm drinking them all in one go plus one more bottle of moscata right now because that is how ridiculously high my tolerance for alcohol is... I'm buzzed now but it will be gone in about an hour, lol. **** my high alcohol tolerance, lol.
I got a lot of nice stuff. I got some movies (including Love, Simon), some books, a Jurassic Park poster, slippers, clothes (my favorite of which is a really nice Mickey Mouse sweater), a 2019 calendar, and expansion packs for one of my favorite games: Cards Against Humanity.
I got some good food and company, though in the way of presents I didn't receive anything. Which doesn't bother me really, I'm not one for the whole Christmas tradition anyways.
Some time to hang out at malls by myself, and emojis. I'll allow myself to buy some figures if I come across the one I like by the end of the year.
I bought myself a Chromebook which I'm using right now, it's pretty nifty (I was previously lugging around a huge laptop which was inconvenient). Got some clothes, a cool ceramic mug, cactus/flower field guide from my mom.
As I came out, leaving my wife and kids, I didn't get that much BUT I got my freedom which is better than any present I suppose...... I left home in November with next to nothing.... I got a set of frying pans Nice deep dish to cook casserole, lasagna or fish pie in. Had money from parents so bought new pillows. I treated my self to a new bedside lamp and floor lamp which is made of twigs and has led lights going through it..... I normally get a massive pile of clothes but I will settle for the few things I got but more importantly my freedom to date whoever I so please!! I find this time of year difficult.... Jon xx
i got some clothes, and a creepy owl clock that has eyes that move my aunt got it as a joke but i low key love
I go money... and chocolate. Yeah, Christmas is not really a surprise to me anymore. I always get the same thing.
