    Hey Chez....Hi again! Yes I play instruments....I was a band director for 41 years. I could give you a list, but I usually just say "all of them". Not trying to be arrogant! It's just that, if you are going to teach kids how to play an instrument, you have to be able to play it yourself. My very first instrument was piano, then saxophone, after that I actually became a voice major. I had to learn all of them to teach them properly. I have always though that if I were to start over I would want French Horn to be my first instrument.

    I primarily sing and play viola, but I also can play violin, mandolin, guitar, and bass guitar, and I can plunk out chords on the piano, I just can't get my hands to cooperate there

    I've played the violin in a youth symphony and I love love love playing the drumset. I'm primarily a jazz drummer but honestly will get right into anything with a good beat!! I've always wanted to try the cello. Such deep, resonating tones. Maybe I will someday!

    I did a double-take on this because except for viola, i play all the same instruments! I also play clarinet (and bass clarinet but theyre the same thing). I tend to find my left hand understanding chords on string instruments while my left understands piano chords... strange.

    I don't play anymore, but I started playing the piano when I was 5 for about seven or so years, I played the violin for 7-8 years, and I just started playing the guitar for about a year.

    Nope. About 5 years of playing the piano as a kid, and one day I just didn't care anymore and haven't played one since then. I don't ever remember liking it, but it was a required elective for school and my only options were that or chorus, which wasn't happening due to stage fright.
