So today I downloaded the LGBT Amino App on my phone but when I looked in the chat rooms the first one was about exchanging child pornography. I thought "that's not possible" and entered the group to ask what the fuck is going on but saw some very sick stuff, left and uninstalled the app. I see people giving 5 stars to this app on Google Play. How is this happening and nobody bats an eye?
If the servers are located in a country of lower age consent that particular app may be legal, HOWEVER, if your country of origin has stricter rules against child pornography than the host site just visiting the site may place you in jeopardy of being arrested or fined and downloading files or images most certainly will. HTH

Report this to asacp.org. They're a watchdog organization specifically set up by the adult industry to police child porn sites and get them shut down. They have direct connections to the FBI, Interpol and other places. Thought they are in the US, they address sites and apps hosted worldwide. Also, if your app is on an Apple device, report the app to Apple. They are strict about what is and is not allowed, and would most likely either terminate the app immediately or insist on compliance. I don't know if Google maintains any sort of compliance for its app store, but that might be worth reporting as well. As far as I know, there's no country in the civilized world that allows child porn, and additionally, even the countries that are somewhat lax about it are generally cooperative when receiving a request from a country that is more strict... this is an issue that nobody wants to defend. Unfortunately, there has been a proliferation of this sort of content and law enforcment is constantly playing whack-a-mole trying to shut them down, with new ones popping up as fast as others get shut down.
