Hamlet from 1948 the Laurence Olivier version. Such a moody and brilliantly acted film. Olivier is excellent as Hamlet and so is Jean Simmons as Ophelia
mom made me watch Dumb & Dumber last night and although it's a great movie, it'll never beat my personal favourite the Truman Show. speaking of which i'm forcing my entire family to watch the emoji movie when it comes out, they're all dreading it
I believe the last movie I watched was The Big Lebowski, but it might have also been The Outsiders (watched it with my students because we read the book as well), but I don't remember which movie I watched last...it's been a little while lol. :eusa_thin
I've just watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off, I may be 30 years too late but it was still really good. Definitely recommended it.
Watched Guardians Of the Galaxy 2, of course. Not gonna spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched it, but when you name a character like that, you know they're going to be trouble. What I'm referring to below. Spoiler The main antagonist was named Ego.
The first hour of Nightcrawler + Donnie Darko. I really liked this movie. It can be a little pretentious but I overall really enjoyed this movie, and how well it mixes some incredibly hilarious scenes with creepy/sad ones. I don't really care about actors but I've been on a Jake Gyllenhaal. Need to finish Nightcrawler soon.
Lmao. The most hilarious moment to answer this, but it's true. Last night I watch Helena Undone. Very very related to my life... minus the marriage part.
just watched Logan the other night. Laura is such a hard-ass, I love her. And well, Hugh Jackman is just a beast.
I think the last movie I watched was The Fate of the Furious, I do plan on watch I, Daniel Blake at some point today.
Hidden Figures - learned some cool things I didn't know about black women and their contribution to sending the first American into space. The Sound of Music - finally managed to watch the last 15 minutes. Though the second half just repeats the same songs.
