Looks like today is another of those days where everything drives me into a rage. So tired of having these.
Been there. Chill. I mellowed out. Hopefully you will to. ---------- Post added 13th Apr 2017 at 03:44 PM ---------- What am I thinking about? Sometimes I don't want to think. It can be dangerous!:icon_wink
Has anyone here who wears contacts ever experienced double vision? I've worn them since I was 19 and haven't had any issues up until today, but it ended up being one of the scariest experiences of my life. I was driving to work this morning and all of a sudden my left eye started to feel weird, like my lens wasn't stopped fitting or wasn't seated on my eye correctly. This made my vision blurry and worse caused kind of a ghosting effect which made me see double on the lines on the highway. For a couple minutes I was able to see perfectly by closing my left eye, but then the same started in my right eye and quickly became very bad. It kind of looked like this, albeit not quite as bad: It was terrifying though to be in the third lane from the right, going 70 mph, and not being confident that I was actually staying in my lane. I'm not quite sure how I managed, but I'm really scared about the possibility of it happening again. I'm not sure what the explanation is either. My eyes have been a bit dry lately, probably due to sleeping less than normal, but I don't know if that can cause it. I'm definitely going to avoid contacts for a few days and use some gel drops to give my eyes a break, but I can't get an appointment for almost a month to see what's up. I'm fairly confident it's just something about either the fit or otherwise easily corrected since I have no problems without them in or with glasses, but ugh, scary.
That getting old has it's ups and downs. One of the ups is, don't sweat the small ****. You will get by. Life goes on.
EW i just killed a mosquito on my bed with febreze. I wasn't sure it was a mosquito until i noticed it was following me and getting close to me. Febreze was the closest aerosol i had. I just wish it didn't have to land on my pillow and bed of all places. I mean its dead in my trash can now but still...EW ITS DISGUSTING.
I haven't worn contacts in about two years, but I don't remember having that issues. But, I deal with bouts of sudden blurred vision every now and then.
Oh great...Brother watching Pokémon and I'm having dysphoria and problems with relationships. yee boi
I've been misgendered as a woman several times before, in person and online, and I recently got a message on meetme telling me that I would make a beautiful woman (if I wasn't already.) Lol That makes me happy.
