How come "otherkin" are always wolves, cats, dragons, and other "cool" animals? Where are the sea cucumber-kin and the nematode-kin?
:roflmao: Well, otherkin is very much a mental construct and not a physical one and it just seems people are drawn to the "cool" animals because of social cachet (even if it's in their own insular world).
That was almost two days without getting a passive aggressive comment. Well, I tried. What was I honestly expecting anyway?
I want a corn snake....but I can be so wavery about things that I want to make sure I'm commited to the 10-15 year of snake ownership. Guess I'll have to wait and see if I still want one down the line. But man do I want one now :[
I'm like that, but with tarantulas. I want one pretty bad, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to keep up with the uptake of heading out to get feeders for the little guys and gals. Well, that and maintaining the humidity and heat they need to stay comfortable; since when it gets hot here, it's hotter than hell, but when it gets cold, it's freezing. But I know I'd love to own some snakes as well, but I'm not as knowledgeable on their husbandry and care info as I'm getting with Ts.
I want to paint. But I also want to play video games. Hm... To be vaguely productive or totally unproductive, that is the question.
Feels like I'm never going to get a checking account open, nor will I get a new permit. There's always something that stops us from doing so when we plan to. Today is no exception.
That moment when you realize one of your friends here gets banned and you'll probably never talk to them again.
