Black metal, death metal, etc. I'm pretty open, however. Just not to metalcore and related. This is a well-known black metal song (... not that it's well-known): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ACxklBLUqI
I can't say that I have a favorite. Elvis to Adele to Die Antwoord, I love it all and everything in-between.
Gabber. I think the classic Dutch style and the newer Japanese style both have their good and bad points, but there's nothing else quite like it. But I'm a generalist, so I like many genres. I've been listening to a lot of nu-jazz and djent lately.
Strangely... 8 other people share my preference. Would never have guessed that with all of the vitriol towards rap/hip hop on this site.
I used to hate it, just because people around me did. It's still not my usual style, but I respect it a lot more now. The song that finally broke through to me was B.O.B. by Outkast. And then when I discovered Kendrick Lamar, I really knew I'd been missing out.
Rock, but perhaps I should have went with other because it's actually metal. Though I do love me some jazz.
