What is your favorite programming language ? Mine is python and c++. Solved some interesting problem with programming. share it with me.
I'm currently studying Computer Science (A-level) in College and we use Visual Basic... i Much prefer Python though :/
I like JavaScript.... ^^; my dad introduced me and my brother to programming and my brother was like "F**k dis sh*t." but I liked it. He introduced us to JavaScript and HTML so those two are my favorites! =)
I'm only on the beginning of programming, I'm learning C++ and HTML/CSS, I love HTML :3 I'd love to learn Lua but I'm too lazy to get it and do everything to make it up XD
I use mostly Python for my job, and I use R as well. I can also work with some more (Java for instance), but less well (except for Matlab, which is relatively similar to R). I really like Python's elegancy, but I also enjoy Java code. I can also work with HTML, XML, CSS and some more related to web pages. I need them for my job as well sometimes. I'd like to learn some Ruby someday for Rails, but right now it's not too convenient for my job due to Python.
My favorite coding language has to be python, just have a lot of experience with it I guess. A bit of HTML as well....
"pawn is a simple, typeless, 32-bit extension language with a C-like syntax. A pawn "source" program is compiled to a binary file for optimal execution speed. The pawn compiler outputs P-code (or bytecode) that subsequently runs on an abstract machine. Execution speed, stability, simplicity and a small footprint were essential design criteria for both the language and the abstract machine." The Pawn language
I'd add a vote for Assembly language. Also, Basic (the original Basic, not Visual Basic) and FORTRAN. But, hey, I'm old school and started out on a TRS-80.
LOL! Well, my TRS-80 didn't have an OS. It only had 8K of RAM and a tape drive (no hard drives in those days for home PCs) - we upgraded it to 16K of RAM after a year - WOW! So I wrote all of my programs in Assembly or Basic on that computer. For FORTRAN, I was using a Government computer and the OS was unique to that mainframe. It was a pain in the a**! After I wrote my programs and compiled them, I invariably had a whole list of errors I had to go back and correct. On the positive side, I learned a heck of a lot about programming - and debugging - that way... But, honestly, it's been a long time since I last wrote code.
I've had a tiny bit of experience programming in C++ and Java. But I want to be a wizard and honestly I can't even figure out how to use the compiler sometimes for doing tutorials. X.X
Well... While swift is okay, Objective C and Ruby can go die in a hole somewhere. There's a special place in hell for ruby. Anyways: I know PHP and Javascript extremely well. I'm comfortable with Java and C++ (Don't know the android SDK though). I've worked a bit with Swift, Ruby, and Python but don't really enjoy programming in these languages. I have wanted to get more into Swift and C# but just haven't had much time. Fake "languages" (including scripting) that i've used extensively CSS, XML, YML, and Bash
