There was a fellow on here from North Carolina who had an adorable accent (back when we could post sound files), but I've heard other people from North Carolina who didn't really sound like him. So there's a very particular Carolina accent out there somewhere that I like. Swiss German is intriguingly subtle. Ones that come from the French-German border I've also found very intriguing. Probably because they stump me more so than because I find them attractive, but whatever.
Ahh, I never get it when people say "English Accents".. Because there are so many different accents in England. I come from Newcastle so my accent is like a weak geordie accent, completely different to the south of england . Some people love it and some people think it sounds aggressive :S But anyway, I actually like the Scottish accent.
I have a german accent . But my parents are from poland so sometimes I say some things in a polish accent ( if that makes sense) INCEPTION of accents XD
Tell me about it, for such a tiny island we have a massive range of accents, you travel an hour in any direction and you've got a completely different dialect. I swear people think the whole of the UK speaks standard English RP. Russell Howard tells it like it is.
True, but really thats around 10% of the population or something daft. I would actually say it's pretty much divided by north and south. I've had many people say they prefer geordie accents, which I don't really understand, but hey.. I ain't arguing.
Problem is, to those of us who don't hear all the different dialects on a regular basis, they do kind of sound the same. Not all of us live in England.
