I'm really excited about this. I have been really depressed lately and haven't really been wanting to do anything but this announcement made me so excited that I started playing though X again. I'm not too into videogames, but I am freaking obsessed with pokemon. ---------- Post added 12th Apr 2016 at 04:01 PM ---------- Omfg YUSSSSS! I'm pretty sure everyone wants this, and I'm not sure why they haven't brought it back yet.
They actually have full 3D models for every Pokémon now, so all they would have to do is add a few extra animations rather than making sprites for every direction, plus shinies. That plus character customization in one game... I'd love an outfit that matches with my team. That perfect shade of purple to wear alongside my Mismagius, Liepard, and Starmie! Could be twinsies!~<3
I mean, at least Fennekin was a fire/psychic. Showed they were changing stuff up. I haven't liked any of the fire starters since the Torchic line though (besides my appreciation for the Fennekin typing) and I was always the Fire type or GTFO guy. For reference, I ALWAYS keep my starter until the end of the game. Except for Pearl. I made the mistake of choosing Chimchar and it became my HM slave before just languishing away in a PC box. But yeah, I agree. I liked the X/Y secondary typing. It was cool, unique (as least as far as a fire/water/grass set was gonna get), and the designs were actually pretty nice this time around.
Can't wait~! I think I'm in the very small minority of people that actually liked exp share, it made grinding a little bit easier.
Count me in too. Made it so much easier to raise my team. My Y team was probably the best team I had ever built. (And yes, I had a Pangoro, why do you ask? She was a beast). They all leveled up relatively evenly, which used to be a huge problem for me. Like I'd be in an area or fighting a gym that favored a type and my team members who were weak against that type would lag behind for ages unless I took extra time to go grind them between fights. But now it's not as severe.
The downside with EXP share is that it spreads the same EV points to all your Pokemon. If one is trying to have a competitive team this isn't good at all but then again I'm just a nerd! Who am I to talk?
My friends and I are super stoked for these games. They've already decided which version they'll buy but I'm gonna wait for more info before I choose. Anyway I'm just excited for a new gen game scheduled for this year, even though I'll have to buy a new DS.
I really digged the EXP share. First time I haven't just had one mega level pokemon. I'm looking at you Charizard! Really hoping for the choosing your skin colour, hair dressers and clothes shops from Y.
They can't come soon enough! I've been playing since Heartgold came out, hehe. I never had the confidence to do competitve, but I might start now that I'm better at choosing teams. I'm still a sucker for mono-type runs though. I love the challenge.
Easy, just use a Reset Bag in Super Training. Then you can reset their EV values completely and retrain until you're happy.
I have an eevee shirt that has some of their eveelutions in a rainbow-style lol. Cant wait I'll get both. Still haven't beaten Y but I'm getting there.
I'm really excited about Sun/Moon and that could be a reason for me to finally buy a 3DS Which Pokemon would you say is the best for the 3DS and why? The last one I played was Crystal and that's more than 10 years ago and I would like to play one of the newer ones.
The first pokemon game I ever owned was crystal..ahh nostalgia! Technically only 4 games were made specifically for the 3ds. Pokemon X/Y and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby. I'd pick X or Y it really has the best of what a good pokemon game should be imo. Also make sure to buy the newer 3DS model otherwise it might not support Sun/Moon.
I've resorted to looking up details of leaks that have already been confirmed fake because in can't stop thinking about this game. Why is information on this game so nonexistent? I wanna see the freaking starters already
I hope there are new Mega evolutions, like Mega-Flygon, Empoleon or even MEGA-ARCEUS! Warning: This image is as big as Arceus power and glory. Spoiler But it would be banned from competitive play as soon as it is released.
Wow, that is one of the first fan-made Pokemon designs I've seen that doesn't look like utter garbage, but rather actually plausible. Mad props to the artist.
