Don't I know it? IKEA for life. -- Every time we argue, it's always the same routine. Boyfriend: "oh my life sucks. your life doesn't suck nearly as much. so don't complain about everything. let me bring up every single bad thing that's happened in my life and do nothing to improve my situation." Basically. ..
Can my appetite just not right now? I want to devour everything and I'm craving so much stuff. I don't know what's worse -- days leading up to shot day or right after.
I am wondering: Does anyone else care about the near extinction of so many species, so many animals, in our lifetime? I get so sad, and wish I knew more LGBT folks helping with preservation. I cry, often, thinking what 'man' has done, to this world.
It's bothering me too. Imagine, I am only 20 and I have seen so many extinction news already! Imagine how many more would be in next few year! I get really furious whenever I read news about people killing animals for sport or fun. The ecological balance on Earth will soon be destroyed and chain reactions of famine and calamity will follow it. A simple act of proper waste disposal (such as personal thrashes) would be a GREAT help to, not only the environment, the animal world. Many animals die because of eating plastics products mistakenly thought of food. And please, plant more trees. And if you guys are planning to build your own house, please AVOID cutting any trees. It is home for many animals that are very important in the ecology. AAAAAAND PLEASE do not patronize the poacher's products (ivory, fur, medicine made from exotic animals, etc.)
*hugs green ranger* I want to preserve my remaining years, to helping, all life. You are an inspiration. Anteater/Antbear Striding on curved fore-claws across the Mato Grosso you stop almost casually to slip a long tongue down this or that hill: Antbear, what’s it like to go through life with no teeth? Sucking it up as the ranchers hunt you down & drive you out to raise cattle, the drone of tractors and engines like foreign insects, as the dust kicked up by hooves blows across the denuded brush. All you ever sought were ants-who wants ants? You lap up your fill of workers and drones but never kill the queen the colony, the infinite underground cities, that supporting substrata--- but there’s fewer of you now cutting the grasslands with your stiff broom tails, and alone now wandering and distant you scent the master’s boy with his feeble binoculars & the gun his dad gave him, his first, & as he stalks along squinting into the early AM sun you rise up above him, knock him to the ground, your claws swiping at his soft face like scissors, & you leave him there, collapsed, bleeding, the carcass picked over by buzzards- covered now with a gentle blanket of ants. -© Simo-Skunk, 2014
I just love it when guys act more masculine, then once you open the door to act a bit more feminine...they jump on it. I find that my open mindedness opens doors for friendship a lot. And I rub off on people. The insecurities and need to be homophobic that comes with it is stupid though.
As a socialist living in Europe, politics in the States always confuses me. My brain has a difficult time adjusting to its red conservatives and left wing liberals.
Mmmm life is not the best right now but I'll make it through. I totally get you on this by the way, it's not fun at all. Hope it works out soon though (*hug*)
I've got to say, after reading many online articles on bisexuality, I'm a little more than disappointed. When a woman is in a relationship with a man and comes out as bisexual, it's seen as revolutionary (see the many married actresses coming out), yet hardly any man does the same, because they'd get "you're in-denial" and more than likely, a less-than-thrilled straight wife/girlfriend/partner. It's not that bisexuals *should* have to prove themselves "queer enough" by being in a non-straight relationship, but it seems like this narrative gets way more exposure and support than the other way around (women coming to realize they're lesbian or bisexual, later in life). The only comparable example I can think of is when a man comes out as gay, gets married with his long-time lover, etc. It plays into the idea that bisexuals end up with men/the dick, which seems to be more palatable to society as a whole... in the end nobody really wins, stereotypes are kept alive, and the status quo is maintained.
-I love reading Horoscopes -I loved his reaction to his gift (made me blush) -Homework to do over the weekend. -Might get my iPod Touch/Chromebook, who knows -His eyes are just, ughhhhh -I need to punch a pillow.
Animal extinctions are making me so sad. And angry at people. Why is it that people realise what they've done when it's too late. Lets take the world's last male white rhino for exsample. It's now in 24h surveilance but it's likely to be too late and almost certain it will never mate leading into the extinction of that species, and why? Because some damned people kill them for their horns. How is it that although we, humans keep ourself as a intelligent species but yet still keep conducting stupidity like this? Wake up people. This is the only earth, there is no spare one laying around. So treat it accordingly. Keep the faith alive - Foxer
