    Seems like many Japanese gamers are hating on cloud being in Smash. lol they've got nothing nice to say about it!

    I can't say I'm surprised. Is it because he is yet another swordsman? Because his moveset still looks pretty unique despite of that.

    So true. I'm actually surprised it wasn't Sora if they were going the Square Enix route, but Cloud is pretty much the classic poster boy for their brand, especially with the remake of FFVII on board.

    As soon as I saw the stars in the sky, I knew, though I thought to myself it couldn't possibly be true. But then I reminded myself that Ryu got in. And suddenly... Smash x Final Fantasy flashed across the screen and I had shivers throughout the entire presentation.

    I was never a huge fan of FFVII, but no doubt welcome his inclusion and know that anything can happen now.
