So, I asked my husband this question today. "can you remember thr way a friend.smelled, or the way their skin.felt from when you were young?" He looked at me like I was nuts and said no. So, my question is, do any of you distinctly remember a platonic friends smel or feel, or is this on tje strange aide? I can remember my beat friends smell, always have, I'll fins things that smell like her and it makes me smile, I can almost feel exaxtly what her skin felt like and other things about her features. We had a falling out hmm,, 12 yrs ago. I havent seen her in probably 6yrs. Imquestionging whether this is normal, or I had more feelings for her than I was able to realize at the time? I do this too! I mean, I can't call the exact smell to mind of an old friend but when I smell something that reminds me of the smell I often smile and it makes me happy. Although now that I think about it, this usually happens more with people I've had little crushes on, so maybe it's that? But that's just me.
I haven't seen my grandma for years but I still remember how she smells, like baking, because she bakes a lot.
I don't think I've felt any of my friend's skin, but if I smelt something similar, then I'd think of them. Pretty often, something I do/see/hear reminds me of a random conversation or something that we had.
