I read the 7 personality types book. It's probably not gonna tell people anything they didn't already know about themselves. For example, it shouldn't surprise anyone that the warrior is one of the types most likely to jump to conclusions when they're feeling angry or have problems with black & white thinking Plus I read the "The New Personality Self-Portrait" book and that's about Oldham Personality Styles. I don't have much interest in personality tests anymore, but I'll share links for the hell of it Here is an overview of Oldham Personalty Styles: PTypes - Main Interests of the Character Styles Here is an Oldham Personalty Styles Test (107 items): New Personality Self-Portrait Here you can see a HUGE list of personality tests/theories compared to each other: personality styles, types, theories and psychometrics models, personality tests and quizzes theory
Sage- 7 Server- 5 Scholar- 7 King- 6 Artisan- 4 Priest- 5 Warrior- 7 My top three are Sage, Scholar, and Warrior. Here are the descriptions for all three: You are a Sage. You are an expressive person and excellent communicator with a natural flair for language. You are a natural performer and often speak, act and dress for effect. You enjoy the attention of an audience and would make a good actor, journalist or presenter. Your work needs to include communication and be fun. You sometimes find it easier to be in a group of people than an intimate relationship. You are popular, a natural party animal with a large circle of friends. You are witty with a superlative sense of humour and can keep the whole dinner party entertained. However, you also have a more serious, philosophical side and value wisdom highly. You are a Scholar. You have an excellent mind, full of information like a well stocked library, and you enjoy developing and playing with ideas. Your curiosity drives you to seek truth, whether watching a crime drama, tracing your family tree or exploring a philosophy. You are good at explaining and interpreting and would make a good teacher. You prefer to connect mind-to-mind when you first meet people and are sometimes uncomfortable with intense emotions. Your objectivity and capacity for seeing both sides of an argument make you a good mediator. Your work needs to have an element of mental stimulation, preferably combined with a chance to use your natural research skills. You are a Warrior. You actively seek challenge and adventure and thrive on overcoming obstacles. You are good at persuading people to do something and would make a good salesperson. Your capacity for hard work and structuring a task or environment makes you highly valuable as an employee. You are often the first to arrive or last to leave the office. Your clothes need to be practical and hard-wearing, and you enjoy wearing a uniform or badge of office. You have a strong sense of right and wrong. You are extremely loyal to your friends and allies, and anyone who leaps to your defense is a friend for life. The Sage fits me in my opinion, except for the fact that my group of friends is pretty narrow and I wouldn't call my humour "superlative" per se. I mean, it's pretty dark, which a lot of people find to be disturbing, but it is far from crude- in fact, I can't stand crude humour... The Scholar fits me perfectly. There is nothing in that description that I can object to and remain honest. I was surprised I ended up being a Warrior, and not surprisingly the description doesn't fit me that well. My clothing choices have been far from practical- I'm the person who wears hoodies in the Summer and would go swimming in only trunks in the Autumn. Still, I do like uniforms... but I definitely do not have a strong sense of right and long. I will tell you straight away that my morals are pretty loose, at least until I properly examine every angle of a situation, which can take several months' worth of thinking and researching... Also, while I try to be friends with those who defend me, (We all need allies in this world.) I would like to point out that I don't feel like I owe them anything, and get insulted when people act like I do. No matter how close we are, I will never owe you anything. I'm also surprised the thing I got the lowest score on was Artisan- I thought that that and Sage fit me the best originally, but now that I see the description... I see it going either way. I mean, the Artisan's personality is sort of vague and boring now that I'm looking at it...
Oh, wow, I know this without having to do the test. This is based on the Michael teachings which I am very familiar with. Even had a reading done from a prominent Michael channel who told me I'm a sage with a king soul twin and strong scholar casting. This test, though, says I'm a server slightly more than a sage which makes sense too. My goal is finding balance and I've definitely become more balanced since my reading. And I've stopped trying to take over/change the world which accounts for my low king and warrior scores. Ha! Sage: 4 Server: 5 Scholar: 3 King: 1 Artisan: 3 Priest: 3 Warrior: 1 Here is a much more detailed test which goes into roles, chief features and goals. Artisan, but with sage and scholar as close seconds (both were literally one point away, and there were some things about those that would change depending on my mood. I guess I'm kinda...fluid between those three?)
You are an Artisan. You are a creative, expressive person who brings beauty into the world. You have a strong sense of personal style and your clothes and home reflect your own unique personality. You are good with your hands and can make and fix things even without special training. Your imagination is vivid and gives you the power to make your dreams come true, if you do not become distracted. You dislike being boxed in by routine and need lots of space to express yourself and sometimes to reinvent yourself. You prefer one-to-one relationships or small groups, but in the right mood can become the star turn for an audience. Scholar and Server are runners up.
