    I'd find it more awkward to have a male doctor look at, or examine them, just in case I find it arousing. My doctor has examined my testicles before and I didn't get turned on though, because I didn't find him attractive.

    That's what your GP is supposed to do. If you have a specific concern, then make it clear that it's why you're asking her to do it if you think it might make her uncomfortable.

    Meh. She's probably seen that many times as well. If you've got something that is concerning you down there, mention it to the doc. She'll have no problem taking a look, and addressing it.

    just luck of the draw, I got one of the female doctors when I went to the clinic one time for a "male" issue. I described the problem, and she just said, OK, let's see. It's just clinical for her. for years, women have been going to male gynecologists, so not much difference.
