There have been a few occasions where it was accurate, but then there have been times where it was completely off like yesterday. Went into a store to buy a sweater and when I saw the sales guy at first, I could have bet money on it that he is gay - that is until I overheard him talking to another associate or customer about how his girlfriend likes this and that. So much for my gaydar.

Yeah that is kinda true... happened to me twice...

There's always that reason that makes you think your crush is :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I can't remember my name somedays, let alone tell whether a guy is gay or not :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Wish I could. Can you send in your gayday antennas to get fixed? That would be the bomb.

I've got absolutely none at all! Unless I'm at a gay club and I see a chick making out with another chick or very obviously hitting on me... no idea :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I'm very oblivious to these kind of things, and I don't even mind, unless I start hearing rumours.

I did suspect some people to be not straight (and some of them turned out to be not straight). Some are unconfirmed, so I can be wrong. But I can also be right, who knows. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

This. Mine is actually very good (with guys, at least) as long as I'm able to stay objective. It seems to be a combination of a lot of little things. Eye contact (and where their eyes actually go) is a huge clue, but not the only one. My biggest gaydar fail was with a guy who has always been extremely friendly with me, including a lot of rather excessive casual touch, seeking me out in a group to have conversations, and over-the-top compliments about random things like new glasses or clothes. I thought he was extremely cute and wished he was interested in me (in fact, he was one of the things that triggered me into accepting in middle age that I was gay). But the more I see him, the less my gaydar goes off despite the apparent signals. Really nice guy, though.

Why did I not come with one? My life would be way easier! If your gaydar is usually right then I would trust it! I mean even if some straight people got "the vibe"..

No my gaydar is really bad, when I meet a cute guy, I'm afraid to look him in the eye cuz he might feel awkward around me... My gaydar is just really bad, like I had no idea that Connor Franta was gay...

I think mine is broken. I am horrible at telling unless it's completely obvious.
