I really like the music in the Bioshock and Fallout games, if that counts. Also, Skyrim has a wonderful soundtrack.
Lets see, my favorite soundtracks would have to include... -Final Fantasy VI and VII -Chrono Trigger -Pretty much every Pokemon game. -Yoshi's Island -Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 -Sonic 1-3 (& Knuckles) -Animal Crossing -the Mario & Luigi series. -Donkey Kong Country -Skyrim -Super Smash Bros. ect.
Final fantasy, okami and kingdom hearts i especially love the sunleth waterscape OST and battle music of FF13
The classic sonic games have the most memorable songs in my opinion. I am always humming some boss music or some zone a lot.
The SimCity series for me. Always loved it. The Sims is also up there for me. And years ago when Need for Speed was still a decent game.
Except the Carnival Zone Theme. That song along with the barrel of doom haunts my nightmares. Did you know Michael Jackson did a lot of the music for Sonic 3? He ended up not attaching his name to the game because he wasn't happy with the way it came out because of the technology limitations.
I would have to agree. I'd fall asleep to the Mac Anu BGM. And the music for .hack//G.U. was really amazing as well. Big .hack fan.
anything from persona - also really love the music from minecraft. The creators c418 make really calming music

Pretty much anything from FF, but this piece in particular is stunning, so calming and such a good cover by the youtuber: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPeeZBhrbBk In some ways its hard to believe something so "quality" was written just for a video game (particularly for a game released in 2000, arguably before gaming was taken seriously by the mass media).
