I cannot get the custom menu to show up on fb. I changed my language to US English and it still didn't work. Any one have any other advice?

For me, there wasnt a menu. I went onto 'about me' and found gender, I clicked edit and and clicked custom and then a little box was there and I started typing in agender and it popped up so i clicked it. :3

I had the same problem. I live in Europe and Facebook didn't allow me to custom my gender.

So, I decided to delete my Facebook account and to create a new one on Facebook US.

Now, I have my Gender Identity customed.

Something I like is that they give you options to set your preferred pronouns... so even though I'm not out to anyone on facebook, I still have my custom options set to "Trans Woman" my pronouns set to "he" *grumbles* and the whole thing set to private so that only I can see my gender~

I use an alias, so I set the pronoun to "they" and nobody asks questions.:icon_wink
I'd use he and "Christopher" instead of an alias if I could, but now is not the time.

I haven't recieved any comments when I changed mine to "agender, neutrois" with "they" as preferred pronoun.

I'll take that as a good sign, because it probably means no one is stlaking me

If you're outside the US, try installing Hola for Google Chrome and set your viewing mode to US. See if that helps.

The only options I see are Male and Female. I really don't want to make a new account (also, goddammit why doesn't the Canadian fb have options!) :frowning2:

And I use Firefox, is there something similar I can do to make my browser "US"?

That's weird. I thought everyone had this option.

Ahh!!! I figured it out! You have to change to US English in your General Security and Privacy settings, then go back to your Basic Info page!

WooHoo:eusa_danc I'm now a "they"! This is awesome!
