Anyone like to watch anime? If so, which ones have you seen? Which ones are your favorite? - As for me, I'm currently watching Sword Art Online. I'm about halfway through (no spoilers please!) I really like the idea of a virtual video game world and such, and the story and drama in it is fantastic. Asuna is badass. I've watched ton of anime, so I'll just list ones I've recently watched: Kill la Kill - Watched this one recently. It's very fast paced and random at times, but it has a solid storyline. Characters are very memorable. I really liked Mako and NONON (Nani sore!?). Madoka Magica - Pretty cute anime. Very emotional and depressing (in a good way) when you learn more about the story. My favorite character by far is Tomoe Mami. And no, don't make any head jokes about her! Detective Conan - I love this one! Not only are the main characters lovable (Ran ftw!), but it's also very fun to get the viewers involved, as you can also try and solve cases. While most of the cases really puzzle me until they are solved, sometimes I can figure things out. The Legend of Korra (Yes, It's a cartoon, but I'm putting it on here anyway) - Ahhh. What to say about this one? I'm sure many have seen this already. While I enjoyed the first two seasons, I think that the series as a whole is moving too fast....? Perhaps 13-14 episodes in a season is far too short to really fit in a long journey. But I do enjoy the lack of filler, as it means that most episodes are very contributing to the plot. I just hope that season 4 does a good job at concluding the avatar world.
If you couldn't tell by my avatar and sig, I'm obsessed with Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It's definitely my all-time favorite anime. (Tomoe Mami is best magical girl) For my other favorites, I'll have to shorten it because I've seen way too many Monogatari Series(the one animated by Shaft) - The only other anime besides Madoka that I consider perfect. Definitely the best characters I've seen in any anime. It helps that the original light novels were written by Nisio Isin. Shaft just adds their own animation style to it which fits extremely well with the story. Gatchaman Crowds - I never would've expected a superhero anime to be one of my favorite anime, but here it is anyway. Very fast paced, yet makes it work. Very strong thematically wise. K-On! - It's a slice of life by Kyoto Animation with lots of music. Need anything be said? My other favorites are Sakura Trick, Fate/Zero, Kyousou Giga(2013), Kashimashi: Girl meets Girl, Lucky Star, Mekakucity Actors, Angel Beats, Hidamari Sketch, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
I've never seen Ranma. I have watched the first few episodes of Ouran High School Host Club, though I never got too far into it. It was kinda cute~ Ohhh, yeah Death Note. It's really, really good. It really questions morals and whether a world that destroys evil is actually good. Although I liked Light (and Misa!), I sided with L/Near in terms of morals. Yay! Another Madoka Magica lover! And someone who agrees that Mami is the best: Ah, slice of life. Yeah, I tend to enjoy those as well. I've seen K-on's first season, and I've watched all of Haruhi Suzumiya. Lucky Star is a classic. Azumanga Daioh is probably my favorite slice of life.
I have so many favorite anime. . How to choose?! I like all the classic Studio Ghibli movies. I like Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, Fruits Basket, Bleach, Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, Black Butler, and about a million and a half others. I really like mangas too. Currently obsessed with everything Wenqing Yan. <3
Um..........thats kinda hard to say......there are so many. I guess my MOST fav's so far are: Pilot Candidate Big O Cowboy Beebop Black Butler Death Note Trigun Some others I like: Inuyasha Knights of Sidonia D. Gray-man Some others I have found I like, but never can remember the names. Seems I tend to like the ones that they dont finish or never make a continuing series on it.
Paranoia Agent Death Note was cool, preferred to novels though. Persona 4: The Animation _____ Films: Perfect Blue Paprika Ghost in the Shell
Another Shiki fan here. That was an amazing anime. I also like Angel Beats and KHR. The latter is pretty long, but nice.
I adore Log Horizon. I adore it. I'm hopefully going green to Comic Con as Shiroe After Log Horizon, it's probably Noragami (looking forward to a season two) and then Dunganronpa or Sao
I don't watch a lot of anime, but currently I'm following Sailor Moon Crystal (the reboot series) and Legend of Korra (not strictly anime, but excellent quality nonetheless).
It is kinda hard for me to choose, but if I had to pick the first 4 that come to my mind, it would be: Code Geass Season 1 Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (S1) Kuroko no Basket S1 Shiki
*death stare* (◣_◢) What is anime? 【・_・?】 <insert long boring list of mainstream, and not so mainstream anime> Shame we can't link to MyAnimeList... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well, I've seen and enjoyed a lot of shows but the only three I'd rate a 9 so far are: Fate/Zero (my favourite!) Attack on Titan Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood There are a lot of classics I still need to see, most notably Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell.
Not technically anime, but manga. Shinji got me started on Super Lovers. Blame him if you get addicted to it as well:lol:
I watched to many animes to list. My top favorites has got to be Naruto Shippuden, Another and Angel Beats.
