Picking a name

I just always liked my name and didn't really know why.
(Plus I get to keep the same initials, which is cool. )

 

My birth name though I greatly despise using it is Alayna, My "real" name (the one I chose for my self) is James or Jay. Honestly find someone who inspires you and base your name off theirs I got the idea for James off of the Hir poem (look it up on youtube its awesome). Originally I was going to use the name Alex (to keep my initials) but there is already a Trans* guy at my school named Alex and I wanted something more original. Also try asking your parents what they would have named you had you been designated a different gender. My parents told me my name would have been Ian so now my middle name is Ian, my original middle name was Marie.
