Yaoi/Yuri?

Why do straight guys like lesbian porn? There are 2 people in it they're attracted to instead of 1 I guess. It's just the same.

 

I freaking love Yuri, and no I don't like the Hentai stuff (just thought I'd clarify because of the argument of what the term refers to).

I enjoy both. But prefer shoujo-ai & shounen-ai (I'm assuming this is what you meant when you mentioned yuri/yaoi).

Some favorites:
Manga: Kashimashi, Kisses Signs and Cherry Blossom Pink, Girlfriends, Strawberry Panic

Anime: Sweet Blue Flowers, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Sailor Moon, Junjo Romantica, Sasameki Koto, Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi

 

I rather like yaoi and yuri, but it depends on the one I'm reading whether I end up continuing to read it or not. There are some really cheesy ones out there, but even the cheesy ones can be entertaining and cute. I tend to prefer yuri over all, though. Because...More cute girls to stare at. Buuut, yaoi has some pretty neat moments too.

 

I don't read them often, any type of manga but the last book I read was yuri.

 

I used to be really into Yaoi. But it doesn't really excite me anymore.

I've read both. More so Yaoi, because I love the fluffiness of it. I haven't found really any Yuri that stands out for me.

 

Er.. Was I the ONLY one that saw the thread title and thought to myself "o-o"?

 

I don't really like either too much because I'm not a huge anime fan. Yaoi can be okay, but it depends on the story. I'm put off by a lot of it because of the typical seme/uke roles and the rape culture (Although I'm aware It's the same for hentai as well).

A lot of yuri just doesn't attract me, half the time they over exaggerate the boobs too. I prefer making "Yaoi/Yuri" of my own characters.

 

I read both. I watch both. I love both. It's beautiful!
