    There are roughly 2 billion Christians in the world, 1 billion of them are Catholic.

    Lent is a Christian season, but it is mostly celebrated by the more 'traditional' Western (not necessarily conservative) churches; such as Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians, and Anglicans/Episcopalians.

    I gave up dessert for Lent and have been doing pretty good! :grin:
