What Are You Thinking?

That dream I had... Damn... I wish I had the bravery to really do that... I'd save you in a heartbeat if I could, mi cielo.

 

(UGH.) Second week in a row of not going to the center. This is not getting off to a good start.

 

I haven't taken a walk in days, so I'm really overdue to do some walking today, but it's so hot out there that I don't really want to.

 

I named my stuffed squid Davy Octavia. FINALLY she has a name!

 

Went to the gym yesterday for a two hour workout. My body's sore now. I can't workout today because it hurts just to raise my arm.

 

Meeting up with a few friends tonight to look at a house to rent!

 

Good god, I am NOT interested in running an office for a tax services company--I'm interested in being a staff accountant, staff auditor, or financial analyst.

I've gotten two calls and four or five emails from insurance and tax services companies claiming to be impressed by my resume and wanting to recruit me for positions I'm frankly not at all interested in taking. It makes me wonder how they thought I had any entrepreneurial spirit from my resume beyond majoring in a business field.

I'm also pissed off that I get unsolicited calls from companies wanting to recruit me, but still haven't gotten a call from a company that has an opening I'm actually interested in. I answered this call thinking it might be from that other company, but as I feared, it was just another unsolicited call.

I hope I didn't upset that person by hanging up on her. Come to think of it, I should have just said that I wasn't interested; guess I have to work on my people skills.

 

In utmost honor of our political season, I finally added a signature. Low tech, but oh well. Might want to make it bigger somehow..

 

So I decided to skip half of my classes today for margaritas at 11:00 in the morning instead with a friend, and as I'm walking to my car to come home, who else is walking to his car? (Which was coincidentally parked diagonally from mine.) None other than the very incarnation of evil himself, my ex. He sees me, so I wave, and we're chatting. And he's like. "I better see you at the meeting on Tuesday! I'll be looking for you!" I don't know what game he's playing but I'll play along for now. It's so weird and just generally fucked up how you can hate someone, but still want them in your life somehow. But I'm a hot mess in general, so what else does anyone really expect from me.

I will say too, by the way, that after I had all of those margaritas this morning, I left the restaurant to take a math test 20 minutes later. There's 10 questions on it, it's all basic algebra, and off the top of my head I only knew one answer. I took one look at that test and handed it back to my professor and literally just left. It was an optional test that didn't count for class credit, but still, he probably didn't know what to think about that. I have senioritis bad and it's only the second week of classes.

I told the kid who sits next to me in English that I was gay, after he pestered me about it for around two years. It just never seemed like a big deal to me. But yeah, he didn't care.

I think he was high though...

I on the other hand had a rather uneventful day.......... I'm starting to realize that I'm getting alot more admirers than I used to. Which I should, and do, feel flattered by, but why is it always the weird ones that are most blatant. It's like dont stare at me EVERY Class, almost to the point that its creepy. Invite me to join your group during discussions. Then comment on my shoes about how "people only wear them to look cool". Simply out of the blue, to announce how non-superficial you are for wearing some ugly a** slippers.

Oh, I'm sorry, I'm not five. I'm not going to fall into your arms because you "tease" me. Seriously?

And you're far from old. (*hug*)

Went outside for the first time in a whole month today and learned two things.

1. I'm terribly out of shape.

2. Reading in the park while the sun sets is really nice.

I think I'll go outside more often

 

2 yrs of doing soo good gone in less than 5 mins...Ugh. :bang:

 

Does anyone else get grumpy about one thing and then everything makes them grumpy?

 

Am I ready to accept that I dont mean as much to my best friend as she does to me

This is going to be an amazing four day weekend!

 

Looks like it's time for my second all-nighter this week.. fun...
