Genie from Aladdin, Sebastian from The Little Mermaid, Peppermint Patty, Jon Arbuckle from Garfield, He-Man, Kermit the Frog, Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast, Velma from Scooby Doo...I can think of a lot of cartoon characters that came off to me as queer. I wonder if it's alluded to intentionally by the writers in their characterization of these cartoon characters, or if "closet cases" have just kind of sank into our collective consciousness as an archetype that shows up in art forms which have to do with the characterization of people, of whom approximately 10% are presumeably gay (probably a higher percentage in the arts/animation, which would be the folks making cartoons).
Cmon now... Purple triangles... "I've always liked rainbows". At least bi because he's into that weird cat lady with the hook.
"oh no, I'm straight. As long as I take these injections every five minutes" *sticks self* "I LOVE BOOBIES!"
yep totally gay Was my cartoon crush, he is so gay too  ---------- Post added 29th Dec 2010 at 11:58 AM ---------- Thanks so much lol, so how do you post videos [VID] [/VID]?
Nope, Youtube videos you do this And yeah, it wasn't till I researched Frieza online way back when did I find out he was a guy. I thought he was a girl for so long lol. So yeah, he's definitely gay....
Thanks again. Yea Frieza is a guy lol. Theres this one scene where he offers Goku a chance to join with him, of course Goku declines. He then goes on to say "We could have been sooo good together." Just little stuff like that made me lol. And Trunks is so gay, but he would never come out of the closet with a father like Vegeta lol. But it would have been a great episode imo xD.
"Exit closet...stage left!" There's an episode where he ducks a female lion who keeps trying to date him so he can get back to his play. Come on. I have no idea why I always thought Don Karnage was gay. The weird hard-to-place European accent? The fact that he was more interested in how he looked plundering than the actual plundering? The fact that he lived on an island with nothing but guys, and seemed dismissive of every female that came his way? Apparently, the animators were forced to write an episode where he gets a girlfriend, in order to appease the Disney folk. But everybody saw through that - she was a beard, plain and simple. Dave the Barbarian was gayer than Christmas. Lex
I loved Dave's sword especially when she electrocuted Dave. He seemed to like the punishment a bit more than he should. I mean he wouldn't smile, but it's not like he yelled at her for electrocuting him.
