I got a cologne I was dying to have, a PS3, a designer wallet my mom knew I wanted, a few gift cards, and a good ammount of money....which I will blow off as soon as I go to the mall.

 

I'm about to head to my parents house to find out. We draw names, and I think my aunt had me this year, which means I'm expecting three very nice shirts that I'll wear roughly once a year (each).

I got a few t-shirts, some nice dress shirts (w/ties), more clothes, Spartacus: Blood and Sand Season 1, Easy A DVD, "The Last Olympian" book, money, iTunes gift cards, and my favorite: an iPod Touch. ^_^

I got an Amazon Kindle, a few books, dvds and jeans, an awesome new suitcase/rucksack to help out with my going to and from Uni and my desire to work in America this summer. Plus, a cool set of semi-pro darts to fuel my 5 month old darts obsession/strange innate talent

I was close. I got TWO shirts - and I actually like them both, so I'll probably be wearing them. My brother was nice enough to get me a book/CD combo about Prince (I'd been meaning to get it), and my partner was uber-cool and bought me a bunch of bath salts from Melt. I heart bath salts.

Money! And clothes. And a few techy things that my mom that would be useful but are kind of useless (like an SD card reader which my laptop has built in)

Fun xmas overall, though.

 

The only think I've received was $100 from my dad and very good news about my mom's health. She was diagnosed with cancer last July and she just told me on October. She had surgery to remove the tumor and she is now on chemo and radiation. She feels like crap because of the procedures but the doc says that the chemo and the radiation is only to make sure the cancer is gone and not to actively kill it, because they could extract the whole tumor and nothing bad seemed to stay in her stomach.

And this year I might get my US residency

 

DVDs (Inception, and a Belgian series from when I was young that I really wanted for nostalgia reasons).
The final volume of "The History of Middle Earth" (yes, I'm fanatic enough to work myself through all multiple thousands of pages of that!)
Two RPG manuals (even though I don't play a lot of tabletop RPGs anymore, I do still like reading the manuals).

And apparently my brother sent me something from Afghanistan, but it'll probably take weeks to arrive...

We didn't do Christmas presents this year
My dad just lost his job and my mum works in a tiny shop, so she doesn't make much money either. But the dinner was delicious, and de decorations were beautiful.
My sister and I bought a present for each other, though. I gave her an angel(she collects them) and she gave me a beautiful silver necklace with a black gemstone.
