--I am great at identifying birds by sight and sound (been doing it since I was very young) and pretty good ID-ing plants too. --I can remember Latin scientific names of organisms very well and whip 'em out at the drop of a hat. I suck at remembering peoples' names though when I first meet them (unless I'm attracted to them right off the bat). --I can mimic voices fairly well, my favorite ones to do being those of South Park characters (Garrison, Mackey, Cartman, Butters, Satan, Al Gore, etc.). I'm pretty good with mimicking accents too. --I can remember details about stuff I'm really into, such as TV shows like LOST and geographic distribution/records of birds in my home state. When I was in first grade I had pretty much all of the lines memorized from Jurassic Park. --Dogs like me --I took 6 years of Spanish, although I have forgotten a lot of vocabulary (except when I'm drunk...then I'm fluent when the Spanish vocab. comes out of the locked away recesses of my mind) --I'm a happy/funny drunk --I've never been in a physical altercation or beaten up in my life --I have a good sense of geographical orientation when I'm out in nature (I get turned around in cities though...too much shit going on with all the lights, signs, and traffic) --I'm an adventurous hiker (like exploring off the beaten path). Sorry fragile soil crusts! --I had the good fortune of being exposed to nature since a toddler and continuously being out in the wild throughout my life
I am going to go all-out here so prepare for me to sound like a really arrogant little bitch. I'm gorgeous and I damn well know it. When we go out and meet new people it's me that people call pretty or hot or fit. I have bounds of self-confidence. If there's a subject I am strongly opinionated about, I can argue that opinion for hours and probably floor anyone who tried to tell me otherwise. I am good at what I do, which is music, more specifically the violin, and now that I've got a new teacher I'm going to get even better. I'm awesome when I'm sober and even more awesome when I'm not.
-I learn how to play different instruments fast, Ukulele is next on the list. -I can play pretty much any song by ear on the piano. -I write scary stories well. -My friends and family come to me for advice, parents included. -I'm a great public speaker. -Animals like me. -I'm one of those people that you either love or hate. Thankfully lately it's been more of the lovin then hatin'. -I have a talent for baking -I have a good sense of direction alrighty, this actually made me smile. Concentrating on the positives is a pretty great way to start the day.
@ tylernc - It's very useful to know! I use it even though I'm not deaf =] I like the way I look (when I have anything but pink hair haha) I'm happy with my job I'm pretty good at composing music =D
I WANT THAT CAKE!!!! Now I'm going to have another little brag. When times get tough I am strong. And I can conquer my bad feelings. I am a survivor and will not let this bring me down. I will get through this and I will be happy no matter what. Yes, I have a very, very strong mentality.
- I have really good reflexes. - I rock at badminton, tennis, and play well enough at soccer. - When it comes to games, I can pick up the mechanics of it pretty fast. Mastering it usually takes a bit. xD - I do really well with numbers. It's been a while since I've done anything advanced, like trigonometry, but I'd pick it up fast. - Because of many years of RPGs, I've become extremely proficient at spelling, and I usually have an easy time connecting the dots in a small situation. Okay, now I'm gonna go hide because I've never really bragged about anything, though I hardly call anything I said brag-worthy. >_<;
I can play the main riff to Black Dog by Led Zep on guitar. Colitis failed to kill me. I instinctively understand framing a good photograph. I can do a chicken stir fry, no worries. I actually have quite a good vocabulary, deep sense of humour, and ponder deep philosophical questions every now and then, sometimes coming to my own conclusions, even coining phrases (that I then forget). I'm good at mimicking accents and doing impressions. I'm pretty damn smart sometimes. I own a copy of Bucketheadland. People have told me I'm damn funny. Not OMG HE's TOTALLY TEH FUNNEHIEST but deeply, intelligently, quietly, thoughtfully funny. Intensely quick-witted. I can think of a joke/joke-link pretty quickly, or a pardody-type satirical joke. My mind dredges up the most random quotes - from any media - that is relevant to a situation. I can't even mention them out loud at the time because there's a 99.9% chance NO ONE else will get it.
@Maddy -- Can I just ditto on how awesome that cake is? It managed to put a smile on my face... and a bit hungry, lol! I'd say you have a definite claim on baking talent & creativity.
I am a strong person who is insanely outgoing and loud. I appear quite self confident even though I am usually the opposite. I do know that I am a great friend. I have an amazing, supportive family. I am working my ass off to put myself through a school that I love even though when I graduate my yearly salary will be a bit less than what a year here would cost me (if I didn't have fantastic financial aid).
