    Newest rumour mill offerings! (source)

-Mewtwo has one new form but two different stat sets for it depending on a held item (an 'X gene' and a 'Y gene').

-Dual type attacks don't actually do damage from two different types; instead the move has one type but deals damage of another type, e.g. a Fighting type move that does Electric type damage. Presumably this would mean a Fighting type Pokemon would get STAB on Electric damage.

-Helioptile is a three-stage line, and the final evolution is Electric/Dragon.

-Pancham is a two-stage line, stays Fighting.

-Fletchling is a two-stage line, becomes Flying/Fire. Appears to be based on Robin Hood.

-Gogoat is the traditional gimmick Pokemon that doesn't evolve.

-There is a Fire type hamburger Ppokemon.

-There is a Flying/Poison type fly pokemon, with a new Poison typed HP absorbing move.

-Downloadable content is planned, including things like character customisation options.

Obviously they haven't been confirmed but it's fun to speculate!

    Robin Hood :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Hamburger Pokemon plus IceCream Pokemon. All we need now is the Diabetes Pokemon and we're all set.

If the Hamburger Pokemon is true. There will be Soo much hate..And I must admit the idea is pretty stupid.

I can defend Vanillite. It's a stalactite with snow on top.

I don't think I can defend a hamburger. But I guess the Hamburger is probably going to be the Muk/Trubbish/etc. of this gen.

    Also: Ugh. DLC.

People seem to have a very visceral reaction to food-based Pokemon (myself included :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:). I wonder if the hamburger was designed by someone outside of Japan, like Vanillite and co were.

Despite the tremendous amount of hate for Trubbish and Garbodor, I've always quite liked them.

DLC will be okay if you don't have to pay for it.

Why ugh!? DLC is great! If they make it so that there's a DLC for access to each other region, it would be amazing.

The rumours about Fletchling made my night. Not that some of you guys had not speculated on the same issue earlier, it's just good to see that it might actually be true!

    MORE RUMOURS (source)
Apparently from someone who proofs the advertising blurb for the back of the boxes:

    -More than 130 new Pokemon

-You can talk to your Pokemon using the 3DS microphone

(I don't think it has been posted yet)

How are they going to display the battleground for battles on water when one of the Pokemon involved is Diglet.

This new addition of Faerie typing is going to change the meta. :3 And frankly, I'm kind of excited to hear this. Pokemon like Garchomp will have more viable counters. And it'll definitely help some lower tier pokemon raise up from the shadows. Everyone deserves to shine, right?

Also, this: PokéBeach.com, with 'Pokemon X,''Pokemon Y,' Chespin, Fennekin, & Froakie; your ultimate Pokémon TCG and Pokémon news site!

Keep in mind, these are still just unconfirmed rumors.

Honestly, if Fairy type IS real, I wonder how they're changing Hidden Power so that it has Fairy as a type. And the above info is contradictory to the other info, which says Pancham is Fighting Pure the entire way.

Hopefully it does become Fighting/Dark (or some other combo) because pure Fighting is a bit dull.

Also re Diglet on ice water:

It looks like we still have the world grid but you can go diagonally between tiles. I don't think they've gotten rid of the grid entirely.

I still have this game in my attic! I loved playing this as a kid. It's funny to see how THIS was deemed the "best" in video game technology then hahaha. #PokemonStadium

Which means supporting Game Freak! :icon_bigg

By the way, it seems that Light or Love type is more likely than Fairy.
