I am assuming you haven't heard of a thing called romanisation. Allow me to explain. Romaji is the literal translation of the Japanese writing of the name (Chiraamii). However, the romanisation is the official name released from the developers (Chillarmy). The Japanese like to use English words (eg. Gear) but can't always write the words in their language so they do some little changes so that it can be written and people who can't read English can say it. (Gear -> Giaru, being written in katakana of course) However, the name is still Gear as confirmed when the official romanisations were released. And for further reference: Chillarmy: http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/572.shtml Gigaiath: http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/526.shtml Meguroco: http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/551.shtml Gear: http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/599.shtml
Why Romanize them? And if they already romanize them why do they change them to different in english. >> Either way those combinations are not in japanese.
I'm playing Le Soulsilver right now, and I'm at the Conseil des 4, but I don't wanna fight them. I'm a tad bit disappointed in Soulsilver's Route Victoire... I'm not looking forward to level grinding from 42 to 50. UGH. Also, I'm still trying to max out Évoli's happiness without raising it from Nv. 1. I want to have a Mentali/Noctali pair. <3
Super bon travail! ^_^ My current team is: Feurisson* = feu (fire) + hérisson (hedgehog) Airmure américain = air + armure (armor) Noctali = noct- (L. night) + ali (French Eeveelution suffix) Pharamp = phare (beacon) + ampère + lampe Cotovol = coton (cotton) + vol (flight) Évoli = évolution + ali *Not fully evolved because his evolution is mean looking. ^^
What the hell? Did my post get deleted? Why is there sooooo much censorship on this forum and I was not even informed that it was deleted!
I'm playing Pokemon Black right now, and I found a Musharna at the beginning of the game. It destroyed my entire team. @_@ My last Pokemon was a level 4 Minezumi when I just through a Dusk Ball at it and caught it. That's what I get for trying to train my Snivy and Blitzle by constantly battling Tabunne I guess lol
I <3'ed Tabunne at that stage for that reason. That little whatever-it-is is just an orgasm of EXP ^_^ And I started with Tsutarja, too :3 (Because I am NOT submitting myself to another ridiculous fire-fighting pairing, and I plan to start with Mijumaru for White when I get it in English)
I played once through with Tepig (it's still weird saying the English names..) and it was just so..dull. Everytime I sent its evolutions out I just sighed inside. :/
I'm starting with Oshawott simply because of how epic it is in the anime. It often pushes Pikachu off Ash's shoulder, and comes out of it's pokeball to fight whenever he tries to send out Pikachu. >_> Then when the enemy looks too strong, he backs up and pushes Pikachu in front of him. XD But Tabunne is amazing. I use one on a battle simulator. It'll be part of my main Underused team. Toxic, Flamethrower, Wish, and Protect. Very, very evil.
I feel like I'm not cool because I'm still only on HG/SS and everyone is chatting about their B/W versions. TT_TT
What is the best way to use Worry Seed? I usually tend to ignore it... I can see it being useful at negating abilities in general, but other than that, it seems a bit—as the French would say—inutile.
It's good for stopping the Belly Drum, Rest + Chesto Berry strategy. It's good for Pokemon that tend to use Rest a lot in general..like Dewgong and Snorlax.
