What Are You Thinking?

i found out that i have some apparent flare for guiding tours today lol

the choral scholars (the singing group i'm in at college) hosted a choir festival today where we invited about 6 or 7 high school choir groups to sing and show their stuff--and so they could hear us and want to be in our group once they go to college too.

anyway, i volunteered to give one of the groups a tour of the campus before the performances and it was my first time ever giving a tour..ever, so i was a little nervous/excited beforehand.

so when we all went back and performed for each other i felt like a total celebrity cause they kept cheering and calling my name, and none of my friends that had given tours got that kind of attention from their groups guess i'm just a people person or something it was super fun.

ps. i know they're high schoolers, but they had some cute guys lol most of them were surfers. and surfers that sing are my biggest weakness.

 

My friends are a-matchmaking. A science teacher of mine thinks I should go to prom with a junior boy, a senior in my math class wants me to go with a senior gay girl, and my best friend just wants me to GO so we can get ready together, lol. I would like to go, either with the junior as a friend or the senior as a semi-date. But like they'd ask me. 'Tis all wishful thinking.

 

So I'm probably going to be a godmother! She's happy about it, so I'm happy for her. =)

I've always had a soft spot for garden gnomes, and now the second largest one in the world lives two miles away from me. I so have to go see it.

It's my sister's 21st birthday. And tonight, she, her best friend and I are going on a pirate-themed river cruise. It will be epic. Best birthday ever!

I found out yet another one of my friends from college is gay. Then again, he did always ping the gaydar...and apparently I pinged his.

 

Between deleting everything in my old deviantart account, and making a new one, I just made a new one. "Do you have your work anywhere?" "... N-no." got old. -.-

But oh man, I feel uncomfortably like I'm 15 years old again on this site.

 

It's 4:30 in the morning. I'm not sleeping yet. I'm downloading & rocking out to music from the Power Rangers.

oh i despise these feelings of inadequacy

 

as most people know im a pretty down person and pretty down right negative, but things have been getting a bit better of late and a few know why,

anyway i watched Russell howards good news the other night and at the end of the show he does an inspiring news story and well this made me actually thankful for what i have and kinda made me in some part realise ok im rubbish and useless but there's still a lot i can off.
