Re: How can I get this body? Quit comparing yourself with others. Comparisons always leave you found wanting. The following little story illustrates my point: A milk trunk passes two cows grazing in a pasture. On the side of the truck are the words, "pasteurised, homogenised, standardised, Vitamin A added." Noticing thins, one cow says to the other, "Makes you kind of feel inadequate, doesn't it?" I think we have all known that feeling of inadequacy when we compare what we can offer with what someone else offers. Be A People Person, John C. Maxwell (57) ---- Because of this site, your possible age, I shan't comment on your appearance. I will say one thing, though: there will always be someone smarter, better looking, more popular, more talented than you are. Not to offend, it's just what I've found to be generally true. Find comfort in who you are, what you can do, and how you look. With that confidence, you'll be surprised how well people react to it. Confidence elicits confidence.
Re: How can I get this body? It depends on body type. I'm naturally skinny; I make a good distance runner, but I would never naturally (without steroids) be able to bulk up like that guy. So work with what you've got. Pushups, pullups, and things like that are good for your arms and upper body, and climbing stairs and cycling will work your legs and your butt. Just be realistic about what you'll be able to achieve. You can't turn your body into somebody else's, as tempting as it can be to wish for it.
Re: How can I get this body? Uggh! I hate you! You beat me to it!!! LMAO! I am by no means a trainer, "bah!" I had to laugh at that myself, but my advice to you is: 1) As previously mentioned, why care? You have a great (fantastic, by the way) body to begin with! Why compare? 2) If it's not so much a comparison thing as opposed to a personal look you want I can't force you to reconsider, so my secondary advice is "bulk up"- 3) You are clearly a leaner build- to bulk up DO NOT use steroids BUT instead eat things that would give you muscle mass such as steak (don't go overboard, red meat not always the best LOL) and protein enriched foods 4) Go to a health store such as (I don't know if you guys have it) GNC, and ask (somewhat) professionals 5) Major DUH moment of the day- GYM! Workout! And don't do more cardio than usual as that will lean your body more, instead lift weights HOWEVER be careful and pace yourself- lift only as much as you can handle 6) NO FUCKING STEROIDS! Did I mention that already? Maybe it bears repeating; NO FUCKING STEROIDS! If you wanna look good for some hot guy shriveled up balls and a baby dick don't cut it! :roflmao: 7) NO FUCKING STEROIDS!!! Good Luck
Re: How can I get this body? Well you could try method A.... be a whore..... er... model....... like him. And automatically become buff. If that doesn't do it, You can go with method B... go in a time machine and hope you win the genetic lottery this time around, if that doesn't work, Method C would be for you. You could work out. I think this calls for a big "DUH" though. How else do you think you get muscle? Research how to get muscle. Ask other people who have muscles and the type of body you want how they do it. >.> and.... LOL. just... LOL.
Re: How can I get this body? I'm funny that way. First, it's worth pointing out that some people would die to have your body. Or have it against them. Another thing I always try to remember when I see very muscly guys is an interview with actor JP Pitoc I read way back when Trick came out (please see this movie, it's awesome, and it might actually make you appreciate Tori Spelling, in case you didn't think that was possible): he was super-buff for the role and basically he said in order to put on the extra 30 pounds of muscle required (which for those of you into such things is AMPLY displayed in the movie :icon_wink), he had to eat SIX meals a day, mainly consisting of chicken (aka protein). Sooooo... I think unless one is naturally heavily built, getting that kind of physique is basically a pretty demanding, ONGOING job. It's also worth noting that you don't have to eat red meat to get the extra protein required to put on scads of muscle. You just need to eat really calorie and protein rich foods, of which there are several non-meat varieties. For instance, Tobey Maguire's a vegan and check him out in Spider-Man and Spider-Man II (not so much in III if I remember correctly). What one person said about cutting down on cardio is a good idea in this respect: to build muscle, you need two basic things: lots of extra calories and lots of extra activity tearing up your existing muscle tissue so it grows back bigger. Cardio makes you lean precisely because it burns up calories. This is why (and this is all from my ex-boyfriend who definitely was better at this kind of thing than I've ever been or probably ever will be) professional bodybuilders often do a bulk up phase where they just eat like shit and work out like crazy with very little cardio. Often this results in both muscle AND fat gain but then they follow their bulk-up phase with a period of more cardio to burn off the fat. It's really hard, from what I can tell, for people to bulk up at the same time as they're getting thinner/more lean/getting rid of fat. And then my final bit of wisdom gleaned over the Internet and talking to people and reading one book on Weight Training for Dummies (*grin*): to build muscle, you want to use heavier weights and fewer reps. So if you're at the gym doing 4 sets of 15, that will not get you any muscle... it should make your existing muscle very toned, however. It would be way better to do 2 or 3 sets of 6 to 8 of whatever exercise with a weight where by the last few reps you are at the point of muscle exhaustion. And that's about the extent of my knowledge, except to say that the huge majority of super-buff guys we see pictured in media today are using some kind of chemical enhancement, have genetics that predispose them to being muscly, probably spend a very significant portion of each day in the gym, and likely work with professional trainers, so if you don't end up looking like them, don't beat yourself up for it.
Re: How can I get this body? i guess if you want a bod like that you really gotta work on it alot. i tryed soo many times and i get tired of it too fast. its all about getting the drive to actually do it.
Re: How can I get this body? Not sure, but when you figure it out; let me know. Btw, I think you already have a kick-ass body. Just saying...
Re: How can I get this body? It takes a lot of effort to get this good at innuendo. I started in high school and haven't really looked back. You just gotta keep at it.
this thread was interesting; okay @ the end you could get a body like this: but maintaining this body is much harder than getting into it.. because @ times u would not work out due to over studying or working.. these guys who their pics are on net.. @ least must have acted in a porn.. as Austin said : Well you could try method A.... be a whore..... er... model....... like him. And automatically become buff. my word is, u have to commit to have such a body ..
I know of a way to get such a body. Knock him out and go to the tree of souls. Then ask Eywa to put you into his body and him into yours. It seemed to work in the documentary called Avatar.
