This girl: Elle Woods: John Lennon and Yoko Ono: "What we do really affects the world. Most of us think we can't do anything, but it really isn't true."-Yoko Basically.
John Forbes Nash, Jr For all of you who haven't seen A Beautiful Mind, he was a brilliant mathemetican who is best known for his dissertation for his ph.D., which is called "Nash Equilibrium", which is a huge part of game theory. *A Beautiful Mind spoiler alert, although biographical data* He started suffering from paranoid schizophrenia at the age of 30 and made a full recovery w/o the help of medications about 30 years later. He then took up teaching, started doing work again, and then re-married his wife (in the movie, she never divorced him). The movie wasn't a good portrayal of his disease though, seeing as he thought aliens were communicating to him through the New York Times, and not that the Russians had a nuclear bomb. Although, he did think communists were after him like they showed in the movie.
John Stewart Bill Moyers . And my mythology/20th Century professor. Professor Green. As well as my mama, cant forget her
i think i'd have to go with Kat Von D. not only did she drop out of school when she was 14 (not that thats a good thing...) she started working as a tattoo artist when she was 16 and has ben doing what she loves since. She's opened her own store, has her own tv show and has published a book. plus shes gorgeous
Ianto Jones He was just a simple queer coffee making welsh man who blurred the lines in many different ways. His speech to his sister about love was brilliant and his romance with Jack even made it into doctor who, a classically children's show. Hes done so much with so few lines and screen time, its amazing. Plus for a homo he is kick-ass with a gun. Take THAT stereotypes! Gavin Creel First off, he sings like an angel and looks like one too. That aside, he is an out Broadway star (two tony nominations for best actor!) who helped start Broadway Impact, a marriage equality organization. Some of his speeches at different rallies for equality were so moving i almost shed a tear. When i think of the word "hope" i think of this man. - - - I might come back and add more as i think of people I have way too many...
Billie Joe Armstrong for sure.. Everything about him is inspirational and there is no one else I love more and look up to better.
