I saw a billboard for Gay Days at Walt Disney World Resort on the Osceola Parkway when I was there back in May (unfortunately not during the event). Hehe. I want to go sometime, but I'm Disneyed-out for now. I thought AstroWorld was kinda ghetto. I did love the waterpark, though...
This is the first i've heard of this gayday thing. I'm going to Disneyland soon but that's in like August so yeah I don't think i'm going to this either. Not like I'd have anyone to go with anyway. :/
I went last year. Had a great time, and yeah - lots of red shirts everywhere. Weird thing, though. They scheduled Miley Cyrus's "Sweet 16 party" on the Sunday of that weekend. We were staying at the Californian resort, and as the weekend went on, the red shirts slowly gave way to (mainly) rich, annoyed parents of tweeners who just HAD to go to Miley's 16th birthday. ...they closed Disneyland early on Sunday for the party, the bastards. Lex
Haha lex I heard of that. I really dislike what Disney has become recently with Milely Cyrus and Jonas Brothers. Don't get me wrong I still love Disney but I feel it has lost some of that "twinkle"( I dunno how to put it). I really can't wait for it this year. I just hope what happened last year wont happen again.
>>>Don't get me wrong I still love Disney but I feel it has lost some of that "twinkle"( I dunno how to put it). A youngish friend of mine told me recently, "Hot Topic totally sold out. They used to be really cool, but now they're just this commercial enterprise." I told him, "Nate, it didn't sell out. It always was a commercial enterprise. You just grew up - that's all." Reaching adulthood means you view things in a different way. It doesn't mean you can't still enjoy Disneyland, though (God knows I still love it), but it won't be exactly what it was when you were younger. Lex
I agree. If they are sell outs then what were they before? How do you know so much Lex? You're always so wise.
Well, I haven't been to Disney in years, yeah I know I live in Orlando bad Malachite, if I can get some friends, or queer peers as the insist on being called, I might go.
That's true Lex. Maybe it's just the fact that Hannah Montana and th Jobros are taking over. I'm still in love with Disney though. I keep forgeting that they are a commercial enterprise. XD I always get mesmorized by their works.
