The whole point of a "necro post" is "bumping" the thread.

When you post in an expired thread with relevant context, it's not necro bumping. It's preventing more than 1 thread on the same topic from existing. AKA, by helping create the new thread, you have contributing to making a spam topic.

Otherwise we'd have like 20+ threads on Glee, cause I know I've posted in it when it's not even on the list of pages anymore. It's simple forum logic. Necro Post is bumping, not reviving it with relevant content.

Yeah, Futurama rocks. I loved that show, much better than Simpsons anyway. There are just so many things that can happen in Springfield, well in space, there are tons and tons of things that can happen!

Not when you basically are coming back like clockwork, and reposting a thread that clearly, people are not caring for the most part to post in.

You necropost, 2-3 people post, and the thread dies, then you necropost, and the cycle repeats.

If you have no interest, then don't post in the thread?

People still post. Thus, they have interest. Thus, instead of making a new thread, I bump the old one. As we're supposed to do.

There's a reason the search function exists.

Indeed it did, the films were a bit rubbish (a bit like "The Simpsons Movie" an episode which was four times too long) but they've gotten back to what they know.

I wonder how long it will be before there is an internet meme using the opening credits which used the internet meme of Fry after he was caught searching Leelas underware drawer....

Futurama is an all right show. It has outright hilarious parts and some that try to funny and fall flat terribly. But the plots are normally well-done. For the record, I loved Bender's Big Score.

I think my biggest gripe with this season will be if they remember that Mars is now EXTREMELY close to Earth, and in front of the moon. >_>

Sort of like how the Earth is supposed to be turning the opposite way?
