Your son is very lucky to have a mom like you. I am sure you are proud of your son. You should also be proud of yourself!

It's great to see there are accepting parents out there-- what your son did was brave, but the support you have for him is admirable.

You are an amazing mom. You should be proud of your son, and he should be proud of you as well.

I’m proud of you and your son. I haven’t come out to my mom, but it bothers me every day that she doesn’t know. I’m glad to hear that you talked to him about loving him and being accepting. I wish my mom did that because it wouldn’t be so nerve racking for me to be thinking about talking to her about me. Glad to hear that you’re supportive, congratulations to you and your son, he’s lucky to have such an accepting person as a mom.

Go mum! You're a star  My mum was similar... except she went into a full on deep convo and talked for 2 hours

Welcome to EC, and congratulations! It's such a fantastic thing that you can be so accepting; You've just made the world a much less scary place for your son and I'm sure he appreciates everything that you've talked about with him.

So it looks like we've got another beckyg on our hands :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Make sure you stick around, it's an awesome forum - and resource - and anyway, the more the merrier! (*hug*)
