favorite types of music???

Oldschool techno (early to mid nineties) does my head in. Absolutely love it, but I think thats because it gives me flashbacks to amazing raves when I was younger. Gives me goosebumps. Then I like pretty much anything except country and most hip-hop. Very varied music tastes..

 

Indie,Indie rock,Pop,alternative,rock and 80's music

 

Across the board genres in metal, hard rock. Indie. Old school rap, especially Biggie and Tupac (go figure). Classical, but mostly just piano compositions.

 

I like this new genre I have created, it is called "dark pop" is this new or my own creation. It is meant to cover the likes of some of morresseys less rocky tracks which are still dark!

 

New age and punk rock and alternative all the way

 

Love them Imogen Heap has a new single out and a new album in August. It should be awesome!

Oh, nevermind. I've never seen those bands live, so it was probably just a doppelganger.

basically my life revolves around europop hehe

 

i'm mainly into indie/rock (listening to Razorlight, the libertines, babyshambles, Pete Doherty's solo album, kings of leon, you me at six, pigeon detectives et al ) but i also love pop acts such as lady gaga, kylie, La Roux, etc.
Randomly, i actually listen to loads of Swing... Frank, Dean and Sammy were legends! The romantic in me just loves those old ballads being crooned, i guess.

I was raised to appreciate music, so I prety much like most kinds of music, lol. Some of the music I don't like include Hip-hop/rap and rnb, things like that.

 

I listen to metal but heavier stuff like hatebreed, throwdown, lamb of god, as blood runs black, meshuggah, job for a cowboy. stuff like that

 

I was raised with classical and I'm still hooked on it. I listen to plenty of contemporary stuff too, but if you play me a song I'll probably say, "Oh yea, I like this song.... but who is it?"

On the other hand, play me a symphony, art song, opera aria or overture, orchestral or choral work or chamber work and I'll tell you atleast the time period. Depending on the piece I can go on into composer, history of the piece and composer and different parts of it that I adore. lol
