Kinda. I have all 4 of my mine next week, when normally I have them over the over of 2 or 3 weeks. I just want to do okay and get them over with.
Same. I have pretty much been using up my free hour at school for studying and preparing for the math test . I suck at math
Nope... 3 weeks left until my finals. Organic chemistry, physics, genetics, abnormal psychology, introduction to philosophy. Last semester I literally studied for finals in my sleep. Like, I had dreams about studying and actually learned new things from it. Stress does weird things to a person.
I HATED finals when I was in school. Between the pressure that a good chunk of your grade depended on them, plus I hated really long tests period. I had some classes in college in which every test was 100+ questions, after about 75 questions, I would just half-read the questions and make an educated guess at the answer. After about 90 questions I just started marking answers at random, at that point I didn't care about my grade, I just wanted to get the test over with.
nope, and the fact that my teacher announced we have to finish some of the curriculum by ourselves isn't fun either
BTW, why are schools letting out so early now? When I was in school, we usually let out the first full week of June.
that's the case with mine still, maybe it's climate differences so your summer holiday is when it's warmest
At least around here, it doesn't really get that hot until mid-June, and it stays hot into early September. Schools have been starting up around mid-August now, and it's still hot, and, while I can't be sure, I believe many schools around here still do not have air conditioning.
That sounds so much like me . I some times will just answers them with out even reading the questions .
One of my middle school teachers realized people do this so he had an experiment. It was a literature class so there were those long 3 paragraph questions of 'read a story and answer questions about it'. For one test in the middle of the long story he would put in something like (the answer to #1 is A). a few sentences later (the answer to #2 is B) etc. so anyone who actually read it would get them all right automatically. Only half the class got those questions correct. So literally half the class answered without even reading it first. Was a pretty interesting discovery haha.
I should be writing three essays at the moment. instead I'm posing here and listening to Judy Garland on vinyl......
