Right now I'm in the middle of reading: Love Wins by Debbie Cenziper and Jim Obergefell Mirror Touch by Joel Salinas A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara ...and the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I also have a couple of ebooks I never finished reading but come back to every now and then.
I finished these books in the last month: "The Cellar" by Natasha Preston "Perfect Escape" By Jennifer Brown "Keeping You A Secret" By Julie Anne Peters Now I'm in the middle of reading: "The Night She Disappeared" By April Henry "Mockingbird" by Kathryn Erskine
Paris is always a good idea from Nicolas Barreau This is such a sweet amazing book, I think I read it in one day, it was so beautiful
5 books over a 2 week holiday, the last of which was Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz. Beautiful. It's such a stunning book and I can't recommend it enough
I just finished "The Stupidest Angel" by Christopher Moore. I enjoyed "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal" more but both are very funny if you don't mind dark humor. I am reading Carl Sagan's "Contact" now so will report back on that soon.
Love Borges. All of his short stories can benefit from multiple reads. I just read: The Prague Cemetery by Umberto Eco The Kitchen God's Wife by Amy Tan A Maggot by John Fowles Harlot's Ghost by Norman Mailer
Sorry this took me forever to respond too, but yeah we actually will be reading that later in the year so that should be good. I didn't actually mind the Iliad, I just thought it was long.
I just finished Blister by Jeff Strand It wasn't what I expected when I picked it up, but I really enjoyed it. It had some excellent twists and surprises IMO.
