My super bitch cousin has arrived. She has bipolar and refuses to get treated for it, and so she always has to be pissed off at someone or something at all times.
What are all these new silver/orange bikes I see all around Manchester. There are youths leaving them all over the place. Are they like the Santander bikes in London perhaps? I think they're pretty neat, maybe because they're powered by the front wheel rather than the rear one. How did they manage to attach the chain to it? I'll probably never know... How is everyone doing today?
So glad they didn't call me into work tonight like they did for my two siblings. Up until now, I've spent a few hours straight busting my (metaphorical) balls on my story. It's nice having a job again, but I'm glad I didn't have to go tonight; I've had this scene rolling around in my head all week and had no time to work on it until now. And it's a boring-ass job. A few days to recharge will be nice. Nope. It took me four and a half years to find a job. Before now, the last job I had was in February of 2013. There is fuck-all to do in this state, especially in the particular county I live in, unless you have a place to live in a larger city and/or a car to get to a job in another city. I have neither and I happen to know someone who works at the place I got hired into. Once I get a car, though, and maybe enough to save up for a place of my own, I hope to find something better. Maybe something in, I don't know, the field I actually went to college for. On a slightly more positive note, I went into work last night to find out that they screwed up my paycheck last week and I had a check for a whopping $15 dollars in it. Seems ridiculous, but it was a nice little psychological boost at the beginning of what ended up being a long-ass night. (Of course, if I'd had that fifteen bucks last week, I'd have been able to get that pair of boots I had my eye on, but...) I see what you did there. I'm not old enough to have played on any of the really old game consoles but I recognize the Konami code when I see it.
So we got a new cat yesterday. Which wouldn't really be remarkable since we keep a lot of pets, except, one: this cat showed up at the house in the exact same way that our long-time, long-deceased family cat did (as a kitten, out of nowhere, found walking around the property and meowing), two: our dad did the exact same thing to this one as I did to our old cat (taking it in and secretly feeding it, then asking to keep it when mom/wife found out), three: mom/wife was suckered into keeping it by the cat's reaction to her, and four: IT LOOKS EXACTLY THE FREAKING SAME AS OUR OLD CAT. Apparently that's the only reason we kept her instead of giving her to a shelter, is because she is identical to our old cat, with the sole exception being the color of her eyes. It's just a little weird.
So, turns out my friend group is actually a lot gayer than I originally thought. I just came out to a friend, and they did the same. Wasn't expecting that. First my friend who I thought was a straight man comes out to me as a transexual woman in transition who is also bisexual, and now a guy who I thought was straight but comfortable, it actually completely gay. It actually turns out my group that I thought was mostly straight and cis, is actually fairly non cis, gay and bisexual. I've found out about a lot of people just by coming out to them that I otherwise wouldn't have guessed.
I'm blasting rock music in my headphones but I can still hear my sister snoring. I'm in for a long night
