Or the next big ad: "Not Alone 2.0". Now with more adoption and less marriage. I won't be suprised if like this actually happens... :bang: Heck, that "Where's my mommy" ad kinda counts already. Anyway, this is great! Woo! ride: Let's see how long it takes for the backlash to arrive.
If they unearth that shit, it's once again relevant to show them this:
It is about time this came to Mississippi. However, there is no doubt that people will whine about this. It's still amazing though. I'm waiting for all of the screaming "family advocates" or whatever you call them. It seems as if Mississippi might just have to accept all of this equality one day just like the rest of the states. Maybe. This really shows how conditions can change over time. Think about it: merely getting married to someone of the same sex a decade ago in Missisippi might not have appeared feasible. Same-sex couples are even able to adopt now in 2016! Who knows what can happen in 2026 and beyond? We just have to continue to work hard on equality. Thats just what I speculate. Regardless, congratulations to all the LGBT+ Mississippi people!
Very good and beautiful. I don't understand what was so special at straight parents that they were the only people who can adopt children.
I heard there was only 1 state that was withholding granting rights to same sex couples that were looking to adopt, and that was Mississippi. I'm really happy that same sex couples from all 50 states can now adopt. This is really great news
Good news indeed. It's exciting to think when we'll begin to see tv shows with two fathers and two mothers instead of the 'traditional' father and mother. Looking forward to it.
