I dont remember when my last white Christmas was but most of mine have been rainy. At the moment parts of the UK are quite mild which is really shit.
Evidently, I will not be getting snow this Christmas. I've only had one white Christmas. The other Northern Hemisphere Christmases were just wet and cool, but not snowy. I don't see why people celebrating Christmas need to hope for snow; it just makes it far more disappointing when there's none, which there often isn't.
It's warm and raining here and it's depressing. It doesn't even feel like Christmas and it's making me sad. After dealing with the heat and rain all summer I want SNOW. One of the only reasons I still live where I live is because of the 4 seasons.
Yeah, that's how it feels over here too. Everything just looks so drab. I've been very stressed and upset lately, and I almost feel like the weather is making it even worse.
It has been pretty annoying. Outside of the obvious reasons to love winter, I love wearing my winter clothes. Jackets, heavy coats, hoodies, pants, gloves, etc. And to know that it's going to be like 70 degrees sometime this week or the week after pisses me off. I'd better see some snow in February at the latest or this will stamp 2015-2016's winter season as a complete fail.
It's actually rather funny.. December 2010 was our coldest December on record, with our coldest Christmas on record with snow covering 95% of the UK. Fast forward 5 years.. December 2015 is going to be our warmest December on record, with a record warm Boxing Day and no snow in sight. Couldn't be any more opposite if they tried. Makes for an interesting contrast if nothing else.
It's warm and rainy today, here. Recent years have had warmer winters around here, and it makes me really sad. It used to snow a lot when I was little, but it rarely does anymore... So, snow is kind of a nostalgic thing for me.
Flint, MI? If yes, I live if Michigan too. I am disappointed with the lack of snow. :'( I was really hoping for a white Christmas but we've only gotten rain. It doesn't really feel like Christmas to me; it feels more like spring.
I like a white Christmas but Chicago has a mind of its own. South we have had some quick snow. Today is 64 and raining cats and dogs. It will switch soon I have no doubt!
Yeah, I've never seen a winter this warm before. It's really crazy, it's like Fall without all the colors. ---------- Post added 23rd Dec 2015 at 03:42 PM ---------- I know! I just got a really nice winter jacket last year for like $150 and now I can't even wear it!
I usually find it snows either just before Christmas or right after it, but I'm not really bothered whether it snows or not to be honest.
Hey Australia has no snow at all, we always have a green Christmas, I have never experienced snowy weather at all.
This Christmas eve will mark 11 years since it's snowed on Christmas where i live. I really wish that it would snow on Christmas. It's been like my number one Christmas wish since 2004. <3 :/
I'm used to a white christmas, but its too warm this year to snow. It doesn't feel like christmas this year with out it being cold and snowy.
It's frequent enough for me to not care, it's also infrequent enough to make me care. I don't know how that sentence makes sense, but it does.
It rarely ever snows where I live, so I'm used to it. Last time it did I was like 7 :dead: lmao but I really wish it'd snow for a change, maybe it'd feel a bit more like Christmas to me.
I'm an Aussie. It's summer here. I would be very very very worried if we got snow here. Especially as we don't even get it in winter.
I know the feeling, snow on Christmas is really beautiful. I only got to experience it once in my entire life though. I think I even shed a tear that day. :icon_bigg That's terrible. With any luck we'll see some more fitting weather and temperature within the next couple of months.
