1. Boobs hurt about a month in. It does start to decrease after a while. 2. You know you've made it when the girls at the makeup counter recognize you as the girl with the cute boots every time you come in and not the trans girl. 3. The blockers plus laser has really made my shaving smooth and infrequent.
Today at work someone who wasn't already acquainted with me socially asked for my pronouns for the FIRST TIME!! oh my god I was so surprised!! (*hug*) I almost couldn't believe it.
Everyone keeps telling me how big I look, and grabbing at my biceps, especially if they haven't seen me in a while. I never honestly thought I'd be called "big" in my life lol. It's all I've ever dreamed of though. I've gained about an inch all around, though my neck, shoulders and biceps have grown even more dramatically. And I've only gained about ten pounds so I imagine my body fat percentage has gone down a bit.
i overcame a pile of anxiety last night and went back to Trans Group after the crap of last month and really enjoyed myself. fortunately the person who caused everything wasn't there, but I think I could have gotten through even if they were there.
seeing the dermatologist tomorrow about options on hair regrowth, regeneration and/or replacement. also getting my blood work done tomorrow for my appointment next week with the doc to get my estrogen patches. things are ticking along (!)(!)
so i saw the dermatologist today and he gave me some real options for getting my hair back, expensive ones but there is hope.
had a great talk this morning with my 8yo daughter about gender and being boy/girl, was great to hear her perspective on things. the youth of today is so different from when i was little.. And also i discovered through talking with her that she is questioning things herself too. It wouldn't surprise me if she comes out as androgyne or genderfluid in a few years...
Boob growing pain. Kind of annoying, but ok. My body is weird and full of surprises, was supposed to be impossible for them to grow.
thanks, just need to figure out how to pay for everything ---------- Post added 25th Feb 2017 at 09:04 AM ---------- isnt it fantastic how kids are so open and free with non traditional views? all we need to do is encourage them and they'll do great things.
Yesterday a school photographer thought I was a boy until he saw my birth name. Today I came out to several freshmen as transgender, and overall it was a positive experience. Since I came out, it opened the door for a few other people, so two girls came out as pan and one came out as gay. It was great :icon_bigg
got to educate one of my son's friends on trans issues today. she's a journalism student and got a bit excited. she asked if she could use me as a source in future stories. i said sure. also the daughter of one of my friends, asked to use me as a reference for her application for a GSA conference. not a bad day.
That's what I'm trying to be with youtube. Try to show people that even those of us who aren't "cis" or "straight" can make a difference and be youtubers. I play video games.
the funny part is none of these people know im trans. but i have a reputation of knowing a lot about different subjects.
I really wish I could get your YT handle somehow, but I don't think you're allowed to give it out outside of PM.... I've been on HRT for two weeks!!!!
First time I've been gendered correctly in almost a year, a couple days ago. I was wearing a beanie and coming home from swim practice and somebody asked if I was Jacob (apparently someone they were waiting for). I said no and headed home, but damn that was a good feeling.
Oh. My. God!!!!!! Is that what it feels like when a girl gets off?! What have I been missing my whole life!!!!!!(I think I just had my first "girlgasm.")
