and that is not something I have ever said before The Avengers 2: Whedon Talks Ultron, Thanos and an ‘X-Men’ Crossover So I'll throw this in spoilers just in case For those who saw Avengers, a certain villain Spoiler Thanos was shown in the end of the film in typical Marvel style Now for thos who know me, this character is far and away my favorite character in comic book history. So to think he'd be the villain in A:2 was shocking and jaw-dropping for me... then we find out from Whedon that he was NEVER supposed to be the next villain...WHY DID YOU SHOW HIM?!?! I am so hurt by this...yeah rant over Foxface
Because Joss was not showing him for the Avenger's Sequel. He was showing him for the Guardians of the Galaxy film where Thanos WILL be the villain.
don't see him listed Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) - IMDb but regardless, I'd have much rather seen him in Avengers:II oh well I guess Foxface
Probable because he has not been casted yet. I'd rather see him in a PROPER Silver Surfer adaptation, seeing that is how Thanos started.
I know, but yes; a proper Silver Surfer adaptation to introduce The Mad Titan would be perfection in my opinion, considering that Silver Surfer is my favorite Marvel hero and 3rd favorite Super-Hero of all time. (My number one is rather obvious.... >.>)
Joss Whedon... Joss Whedon... he sounds so familiar... *GASP* He made Alien 4! Instantly unforgivable.
That was so unbelievable I almost could not bare to accept until I looked into it... it's true, I will blame him for killing the Alien franchise, but lets face it; it should have ended at 2, why there was a 3 or even a 4; I will never know. But hey; Joss did give us a good adaptation of the Avengers and not to mention Firefly. C'MON! FIREFLY!
Yeah Avengers WAS pretty good. Didn't he also make Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog? I liked that. To be honest, I never actually watched FireFly...
He was also responsible for Angel! Loved that series but hated the ending. Firefly quote: "If you can't walk, crawl. If you can't crawl get someone to carry you. If you can't do that... well you know the rest."
He's also the one working on the Star Wars movies. Also, he's been working with a similar cast as Stephen Moffatt. I wonder if the two had some sort of meetup and Joss decided to make some similar decisions as Moffatt. You know, like "THE NAME OF THE DOCTOR" At least he's not like Andrew Hussie where.... Oh, wait. Nevermind.
Any bets on whether or not the new Star Wars has some form of time travel? It's one of Abrams favorite devices.
