Hi everybody, The Chat Room is currently closed temporarily whilst a few tests are conducted on its command functions. It shouldn't take any more than 30 minutes, unless something chaotic goes wrong. Martin.
I still think you should add a little side bar that's always on the corner of the site that lets you know the current chatroom traffic. I hate playing Russian Roulette with the chatroom to see if someone's on >.<
The chat seems to reset a user's settings every so often. Is this a known issue? No cookies or anything like that has been cleared. Also getting a "your connection has expired." message. Is that a EC issue or "my internet is shoddy" issue?
The chatroom software is a complete piece of crap. It's ancient, outdated, unreliable, and is a constant problem. We are actively looking for a replacement.
Trust us, the Staff do feel unanimous in our view of Chat. It's a love-to-hate kinda relationship. Chat doesn't mind most of the time, but when it does, it'll close itself for no good reason and have a little sulk
I think chat is being mean and exclusive-elitist to me. Someone teach it a lesson on my behalf please EDIT: To break character for a moment, it has people inside but says that it's closed to me.
